At some point does a school look at Chizik again? We laughed about him but he was smart enough to hire Malzhan (who did not win a NC and who is falling flat now as OC) and is quietly doing really well with UNC.

I'd love to see one of the people on here advising Les Miles to leave LSU on his own accord walk away from a job that has to pay him $15 million if they fire him.

It's easy to be principled from your living room talking about someone else's money.

Even if they get it right long term we SHOULD at least benefit short term. Richt was good enough to beat you every other year.

I predicted 8–4 before the season and, although we got there in heart-wrenching fashion, I am pleased with it. I'm proud of this team. Go Vols.

I think UGA recruiting drops off. People underestimate how many momma's wanted their babies to play for Richt.

Me too. They could have folded but bought into Butch's positivity. and they started to believe they were good.

As Breakerboy said a few weeks ago,

If this shift let's UT get some UGA talent this year then it may result in an SEC championship in 2018 or so.

Fulmer's winning % had dropped off though, Richt's had not. Richt won 73% over the last 4 years, Fulmer won 58% over his last 4 years. This is way worse than UT firing Fulmer.

I checked the same stats for Miles the other day and saw something similar.
