He's adequate, at times, as a passer. But in tight games with good teams adequate has not been enough to move the ball when the box is stacked against the run. The receivers & O line have not helped him always...but if Dobbs was just half the passer that he is everything else, he would be up for the Heisman.

He is better than adequate, at times, also. He was terrific against Georgia and fantastic against South Carolina last year. I think that we all agree that he has room to improve with his accuracy. I will say that a lot of QB also pad their completion percentages, with high percentage, shorter passes.

In the end I'm confident I'll be proven right. Dobbs has ELITE QB talent IMO. He just needs more seasoning and experience. I expect him to explode next year as a national star and draft prospect.

I better not see you guys jumping on the bandwagon next year when Dobbs is being talked about as one of the top QBs in the country and a high NFL draft pick. You guys better just admit you were wrong.

I'm sure if Dobbs doesn't get better I'll continue to hear from yall.

Gotta prove your avatar is correct, huh?:p

Happy Thanksgiving, VN. I'm thankful that I have three daughters instead of two and for the generosity and kindness of this board...except maybe Bruin :) lolololololololol!!

Y'all have been so great to my family this year. I'll never be able to thank you enough.

Miss Ashlee is doing great. We'll have her next heart cath on Tuesday and then hopefully and prayerfully be done for a long, long time, if not permanently. It's been a long, hard 7 months but she's always happy and cheering up her parents and anyone else around her. I'm thankful for God's grace and mercy...and for not taking her on the two occasions that she came so close to going home.

Thanks, VN. Here's Ashlee with her usual expression:

God's Grace to you and your family. Beautiful little girl. No matter how bad your day has been, I bet she changes your day as soon as you see her..

Except for the gift of Jesus, there's not a better gift or blessing in the world. Happy for you OB.

And Happy Thanksgiving to everyone of the VNers.

Good morning and a happy thanksgiving to all! I'm thankful for all of you, even bruin, because we are all Vols at the end of the day. We may not always get along but even the best families have arguments. We embody the spirit of volunteers as we choose to spend our time here together. As for bruin, we all have that one family member :eek:lol: Bless you all and have a wonderful day today. I love you all!

OB, you would never know anything is wrong with that little girl. She's absolutely beautiful! So glad to hear that hopefully you all are almost finally through all of the storms. Enjoy all of the sunshine coming your way. Your family most definitely deserves it.
Oh btw...GO VOLS!!

I am thankful for your willingness to share your journey with Ashlee with all of us. It is a beautiful witness to the love of our Lord and a community that extends beyond geographical borders.

And please keep bringing your unvarnished perspective on our Vols. :hi:

Nah, we just brought our guns, raping, pillaging, diseases, and manifest destiny with us instead. I love America, but I'm not proud of what we did to the native Americans. Sorry, but you know that's true.

I wish it could have happened better...But I am thankful I live in a place that despite our best efforts to tear it apart lately, is still the greatest place to live on Earth.

It helped quite a bit to vent on here. My wife and I just could not say out loud to each other what we were thinking when we were going through all of that back in April and May...and then again in October and November...although we both knew what the other was thinking. So, Freak, thank you for allowing me to do so.

Also...I'm never shy about giving my opinion when it comes to my Vols :). I used to have A LOT more time to post but with work, three kids and all the things that go along with all of that, it's been slow going in that department.

I will say this...I tend to agree with Chavis more often than not. :) [insert evil laugh]
