He's adequate, at times, as a passer. But in tight games with good teams adequate has not been enough to move the ball when the box is stacked against the run. The receivers & O line have not helped him always...but if Dobbs was just half the passer that he is everything else, he would be up for the Heisman.
He is better than adequate, at times, also. He was terrific against Georgia and fantastic against South Carolina last year. I think that we all agree that he has room to improve with his accuracy. I will say that a lot of QB also pad their completion percentages, with high percentage, shorter passes.
