Deserves is dictated more so by the market than the performance. A lot of coaches don't deserve what they make but market drives their salary.

Nope and the defense will be nasty. A third year Barnett should scare a lot of offenses. Vereen with his surge just adds to the madness. This defense if they stay relatively healthy could be one of the most dominant in school history. JRM and Kirkland play off each other. They are starting to control games behind this huge D-line. The Georgia game when we line Barnett, KMack, and Tuttle up with Austin Smith on the strong side, that offense couldn't get anything going running the ball.

He was going to be a safety for anyone that was recruiting him, CBJ included. The sales pitch may have differed, but it sure looks like safety is his calling. IMO of course.

I wonder if they'd consider moving JJ to safety and Evan Berry to WR. Could be best for all involved.
