Yeah I am also really interested to see who leaves on the staff. Thig would be a really big blow.

Interesting that Les will likely have another job day one and Fulmer never got any major offers (or did he?).

Fulmer won 58% of his games over his last 4 seasons and hadn't won an SEC title in 10 years when he was let go.

Miles has won 70% of his games over the last 4 seasons and won as SEC title as recently as 2011.

Firing Miles now is more like if UT had fired Fulmer after the mediocre 2002 season. Had they done that, I'm sure Fulmer would have gotten interest.

In the passing plays, he did his progressions and checkdowns to find the open receivers. He also looks to part of a composed pro-style QB. I'm no expert, but he sure looks the part.

According to Joe Schad, boosters at LSU have agreed to pay the 15-20 million dollar buyout.

He also said it is very likely to happen.

His earlier theory was that Strip was ready to give up coaching. He got this because they were in line together at Boston Market and Strip is real easygoing. :unsure:

Cbj is the only recruiter that matters on this staff.


There have been some not so pleasant rumblings about issues with Thig off the field that would be a black eye to the university if they become public knowledge.

Thugs role in recruiting has diminished as of late and IMO that is telling.


The coordinators are important for stability and yes both sides of the ball have had very good years especially on offense.


The other coaches are plenty replaceable IMO

Strip isn't going anywhere unless it's to the lake fishing which is possible

Maybe however it does seem like we don't hear his name as much involving recruits like in year 1. So maybe not. Butch is main reason most of the kids come anyway
