Family member had the same problem. Bright is better. Could be an ulcer. May have to change some things up in your diet. See the doctor sooner than way later.

Yes. Dark red means there's some bleeding deep in your digestive system.

Yea, the intestines are super fragile. Could be small intestines but likely the colon or stomach. Colonoscopy and stool test will really help determine everything. Hope everything is ok. Keep us posted..

Have had this a few different times, starting back in 2006. Finally had a colonoscopy done this year. Found nothing wrong.

As Volatil said, if it's bright red, you should be ok. But not a bad idea to mention it to your doc.

I remember you mentioning some stomach problems and the OCD. Was kinda curious if this happened to you. Sorry it did and glad it's not a severe problem. What I've seen with these more serious issues in the gut, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Probably from an internal hemorrhoid. Bright means it didn't work its way through your digestive system.

What's the samples part of this process? I think I know the answer lol but I'm clueless and am considering this.

You take a sample to the doctor's office and awkwardly hand it to a female nurse and they make sure you have no more swimmers.

Or better yet, on you third sample (independent lab), you take it to the wrong lab and the nurse says in a horrified voice "we don't do that here".
