I was told they now wear a 3/8in cleat instead of a 1/2.

Not sure if true or the rules but I am told that is why all the slipping and sliding has happened and jones just wants turf and that's why all the publicity

Seriously. I know everyone hates a conspiracy but I am told this a hart vs jones campaign. Butch wants turf and has taken all this to the media to blow it up beyond proportions to try to get turf.

The new cleat is supposedly as much of the problem as the field. Now the field is worse than before but as I stated earlier some are blaming butch for that part.

Just interesting food for thought. I have no real opinion on it

If LSU cuts ties with les, he would get one of these power 5 openings. Which one do you think he would land at?


If UGA cuts Richt, you think they would try to get Miles? The roster would fit his style.

Or Texas maybe?

The new cleats- have the players been wearing them all season or was this a recent change? In the Kentucky game we looked pretty good what were the players wearing then? Maybe it was a better playing surface:) Maybe this will be an advantage this Saturday and our offense can truly be unleashed. It's always something isn't it lol!

He has not overblown anything. This field is absolutely atrocious. Just a matter of time before the field costs us dearly. Get it fixed now. Turf or grass, I don't care, but the field condition is absolutely a real problem.

Kentucky's field is in much better condition, and yes, I think we will look much better Saturday.

The only opinion I have stated is there are 2 sides to every story.

I thought it was worth posting the grounds crew side(excuses) since I was told them.

I have taken no side here. Not sure what's wrong with that since it's tenn football related

What clubs do grounds crews frequent? Are you a groupie? How are you getting told. "Their side"?

No worries if you want to believe what I was told or not. I have been here long enough I think to prove I am not one to make up info but whatever you want to think is plenty fine by me.

Usually my outlandish things are picked apart because of my opinion but this isn't the case here.
