Well, alrighty then. Happy to be playing in Columbia since our skating rink is the subject of embarrassment. When I saw Kamara losing his footing in the end zone after the TD run was over it was like, crap, here we go again with something else that is stupid.

C'mon goofballs. Fix it. Better yet, never let it happen with all the resources you have over there.

This is 3 years running too. Been the worst this year, but it's been bad for years. I just don't get how Hart doesn't fix it in less time than that.

More of a bad relationship with AD than performance issue. AD being a dildo about assistants

Mom! The AD's being a dildo!

Does anyone know his what Miles' buyout is? I think it's about 15 million. However, I think there are several schools who would love to hire him and his buyout would be offset by whatever those schools will pay him.

According to ESPN's SEC Standings, South Carolina is the only team in the East with a win over a currently ranked team (UNC).

Tennessee is the only team in the East to play three currently ranked teams. Everyone else has one or two.

Four Eastern teams are done with their SEC schedules, the other three have only SEC games left.

It's the paint and more importantly the delaying of certain applications that need to be done.

In the article it states a criticism of when the aeration took place. That is one of the things that was delayed because of other events. Also the fertilizing schedule as well.

Again not siding with the grounds crew but there are two sides to each story

But other than the paint, delaying of applications, wrong time to aerate and the wrong fertilizing schedule, there's not a thing one could have done differently.

Boy, you guys are demanding...not sure if I want to be responsible for taking care of your lawns :)

Chavis was covering for Les just like he did for Phil. Funny how that works. Give him another season or two and he will be covering for Kevin. Just like Mushamp for Gus in another season or so. Still laughing that Les signed Steele to be his DC.

Which is why I have been concerned with Debord. Hope it works out better than that.

They could do better, but history shows they'll go through a few bad ones first.

He has a chance of being 11-2 and they are talking about his job?

This is crazy. Every team thinks they can do better. Let Saban lose to Florida or God forbid Ohio State again and those idiots will be saying it.

I promise I will never complain about 10-2, 9-3 seasons again. We learned our lesson.

If Les gets fired then we need to be first en route to pick him up as turf expert extraordinaire and motivational speaker.

He can also tweak our "chart" as far as what do to on 4th downs.

Lol

But he needs to stay far away from our time outs and clock management

Thank goodness there are 4-5 dozen program changing coaches available this year...

Seriously, there are a number of coaches who are going to be labeled the problem at their respective schools, but other programs are going to consider them Messiahs.

The irony is ironical.

I would hope that we have...but given the way some people talk, I don't think we have.

For those just catching up, we're having a semantic argument about what exactly the word "ruins" means.

The next big discussion is "Turf Management: Who Screwed Up, And Who do We Fire For it?" With bonus features, "Way Back: The Grass Didn't Used to Be This Way" and "Way, Way Back: Turf Was Just Fine When I Was a Kid."

My opinion is the field needs to enhance our home field advantage, not reduce it.

I get what you are saying, but I would say the field being played on by both teams negates any advantage. The advantage should come from the venue, not necessarily the grass on the field.

Add this one to grounds crew excuse list

We using shorter cleats than ever before?
In butch's press conference a reporter asked if they had discussed moving to a longer clear length and butch said the NCAA is stricter than the NFL and doesn't allow changes. Also mentioned they had been in contact with Nike and had tried other things with the cleats but didn't go in specifics
