I have said it over and over...when Dobbs is throwing well, this offense is dang near unstoppable, bad OL and all. DCs are throwing everything at the line of scrimmage. When Dobbs is throwing like THAT, which it seems like is..well all the time..this Offense sucks..hard.
So it is okay if we go 6-6. Got it.
Has EazyTD posted lately? Would be great to get some insider info on things- mainly offense issues. How injured really is Dobbs, why isn't Jack Jones playing, Hurd and those discussions, where the heck is Marquez North, etc.
It will be a shame if Jack Jones is in the doghouse with Butch. He and Hall are very good when playing together on the right side. If he's injured, that's one thing, but if Butch is pissed at him for some reason, that's just bad. I believe that he's to stubborn to put two freshmen on the right side for fear of running off potential future OL recruits. That's just my opinion.
Thank you Ms Aesius.Just heard this before...paradigm shifts to next absolute. If such and such doesn't happen THEN Butch can't get it done. If he ever "gets it done" you and your husband will be silent...then we ALL win.
If they won out in dominant fashion, it wouldn't change your narrative...so quit pretending.
The thing that I don't understand about the "if... then Butch can't get it done" statements is that we watch good teams and good coaches drop games to lesser teams literally every week. Oklahoma got beaten by a terrible Texas team earlier this year. Alabama lost to an Ole Miss team that has since been exposed. The Pac 12 has cannibalized itself this year, to the point where none of those teams are in the playoff picture anymore. Auburn has sucked all year. Do we think Malzahn can never get it done? ...despite having already done so in his first season there?
These are all respected coaches who are still respected even now. But when it happens to Butch... Fire everybody, he can't get it done, he's a fraud, etc.
Criticize him all you want - he has done dumb things this year - but these ultimatums and final judgments are silly.
I doubt if anybody that has been on VN since I joined 6 years ago thinks I am a Negavawl. I am not blind however, Josh Dobbs inability to consistently hit the broad side of a roofed animal enclosure, really makes the offense look worse than it is. It will cost us one of the next two games...and I hope I am completely wrong.
They should have errors on Wide Receivers like they have in baseball when someone drops something that is right in their hands. It's not fair that the quarterback always gets blamed.
