Georgia Tech's 18 year bowl streak ended tonight. I think the seat will get hot for Johnson. Especially if they lose to uga. Disappointing year for both teams. Both were picked to win their divisions.

Thin, young, ton of injuries. Sound familiar?

Hmm...makes you wonder how good of a coaching job that our staff has really done, when you consider our record and what it might end up being, and compare it to GT. I know there are areas to improve, but still something to ponder.

Second round of the playoffs tonight.

Battle of the Boro 2.0

Jacoby Stevens vs. Gentry Bonds

Stevens had a monster game in the first meeting. While Bonds hasn't had a great year, he had a HUGE game in the first round (while Clemson, Mississippi St., and Ky. had coaches there to watch Bradley County QB. 2 ints.)

Look for a Patriot win here but you never know.

Back on topic (since the other one was moved off).

I'm taking my son to his first game tomorrow. Man, is it an early Vol Walk.

Any of you cats going to be there?

I plan to be there with my two oldest. Where you gonna be at for the Vol Walk?

Eh - Tech's prob got a tougher schedule and we're a more talented team.

Honestly, I have no idea. I've got a three hour drive ahead of me just to get to Knoxville. I'm trying to convince myself it's worth going that early.

Still gotta work out parking unless I just wing it when I get there like usual.

More talk that Jim Irsay may fire Chuck Pagano, hire Nick Saban | ProFootballTalk
It sure sounds like Irsay wants Saban, and the only real question is whether Saban wants to coach the Colts. Saban has already won three national championships at Alabama and his team is currently No. 2 in the country. That could mean he has a good thing going and wouldn’t want to leave, but it could also mean that he’s accomplished everything he wants to accomplish in college and wants to take on a new challenge in the NFL. Saban’s previous tenure in Miami didn’t go well, but Saban has hinted that if he had full control of a roster and a franchise quarterback, he’d like to coach in the NFL again. Irsay may give Saban what he wants, and Saban may head to Indianapolis in two months.

Hmmm.

@CloydRivers: Stupid is as stupid does. FeelTheBern. Merica. https://t.co/uK5z9UyNWm

I could watch this all day

This is painful. Not because of the floundering, but because of the ignorance. Tuition, housing, food... these things are not free for these universities to provide. Why should they be free for you? I wish more people would make an honest attempt at reasonable research before spouting ridiculous demands and opinions.

At worst, it prevents one from looking like an ass. At best, I think it would solve a lot of our problems before they ever actually become problems.

Going to be leaving at 7am from Roanoke. 4 hour drive. Parking downtown is easy and is a short walk to the stadium. Should get to my seats with about 20 minutes to spare. Nooners suck -- early morning and no tailgating.

Anything going on in Knoxville Saturday night that the gf and I might want to check out?

@Volquest_Rob: Butch on Curt Maggitt, got MRI back, status hasn't changed, no determination on yet on whether he can play in bowl game.

The people who choose to go to college CHOSE TO GO TO COLLEGE on their own already knowing that it costs to go to college and that there are things you will have to do or give up in order to achieve said goal of graduating with a degree. Nobody forced them to go therefore college is not a free education. Nor should it ever be. A ton of people in this country never think things through and try to understand the importance of "if I do this, what will be required for that to happen?". Welcome to society where you work to get money so you can buy what you need/want including going to school.

My apologies. Rant over. MODs if this needs to be moved then I understand.
