The east is terrible and the west is not as strong as recent years.

They have NCSU this week. They're one of those teams that can get "lucky." If that's the case, FSU would have 3 losses going into the UF game. A loss to UF and they're out of the polls.

I disagree with this. Call me crazy, but I think there's too much talent on this roster and we only play 2 SEC West teams. We can beat everyone in the east. We can beat any non conference foe on the schedule. 2 losses max moving forward.

Beechher, people don't doubt you. I may disagree with you but you don't have an element of actual hate others seem to have. I have no doubt you're a fan and root for Vols to ALWAYS win. I also have no doubt there are others on this site who would rather be "right" and UT lose.

It really doesn't bother me either way. Disagreeing at times is part of life.

Those that want to see Ls for whatever reasons are not fans.

Its in my blood. I have friends and family that played football there at various times similar to others here. I want UT to be good again. Jones has done some good things here, even some of his critics have agreed with that. I think there are some concerns that exist. Some that average joe fan won't hear about.

Jones will get a fair chance to earn whatever he gets here. And anybody that is a fan hopes that is good for UT.

Seems to be. Debating with him is always at a different level. He doesn't bash and spew hate like many others. When he has a criticism it's legit and he's respectful to the players, coaches and program. He is not a negavol.

And that's fair. The issue also is the situations each coach came into was different. The differences were stark. That's what many seem to not recognize.
