Tonight's targeting call was 100 correct and was the reason they put the rule in.

From what I could see on Jumbotron looked like it was clearly with shoulder pad. I'll defer to what you and everyone else saw as I was on other side of field from play, and other endzone from Jumbotron.

I have no issue with the penalty. But overall there seems to be many more "phantom" targeting calls then genuine ones. NCAA/SEC, etc during the offseason either need to rewrite the rule to expand the wording to include everything that actually gets called (so players at least are aware of everything they may get ejected for); or have a serious recurrent training course with refs/replay officials.

I get its a very hard call to make on the field, but how some of these (not talking about tonight) get upheld after replay boggle my mind.

No. It was absolutely 100% targeting. Randolph knew as soon as he did it. He took off his helmet and started walking to the locker room before they even called the penalty. The cynical side of me thinks he may have seen an opportunity to make a big (if illegal) hit on the other team's best player and took advantage hoping to knock him out of the game. It took him out for a couple of series.
I don't think he knew Martin had a chance at the ball. It was too quick. I think he was trying to break up the pass and send a message.

Been doin good Sam...just moved to Harlan Ky 2 months ago to work for Jesus. I love it here. It is just hard getting started. Cool thing is I am finally back close to home after 15 years. We go see the family down in Knoxvegas

about every other week. I'll be able to catch a lot more home games now too, so that is a bug plus also.

Wow, so a ton of Missouri football players are refusing to play if Missouri system President is not removed.

Nothing shows ignorance quite as well as using multiple exclamation points and/or question marks at the end of the sentence. It adds nothing to the sentence. It only makes you look like a 15 year old girl.

Edit: I forgot a word :thud:

Good to hear. Glad you're closer to home.
