Final thoughts...

The Mizzou stupidity - Their scholarships are dependent upon them playing football. If I'm Pinkel it's, "see you at practice or get your stuff and have a good life."

USCe is a better team than we expected. So a W coming in any form is OK. Forget the style points.

If the OC/Butch will focus the O on what Dobbs/Hurd/Kamara do well, they will outscore opponents regardless of D performance. But they approach most games like they do practice as if they are experimenting at different things. I don't see that stuff with the better teams. Those teams line up and do what they do without trying to outsmart the other guys. Sure, an occasional trick play, but, for the most part they go with what they are proven to be good at. When the other guys stop them consistently, they adjust to the next batch of things they do well and adjust blocking assignments, routes, QB drops, check-offs, etc.

Defense - CJJ - talking to you. Match-ups. It's about match-ups and pressure on the QB. Cam on the other team's best receiver. You have too many injuries on D to do it any other way. Period.

Unless I am misunderstanding, that's not the discussion. Take vandalism out of it. The discussion was about individual rights or free speech.

That said, as a defense attorney, I could argue that a message with feces is not vandalism. You can wash feces with water, and nothing is damaged. Graffiti usually involves having to spend money to replace or repaint. Just my take.

Just a couple of quick thoughts. Great night for football at Neyland, it was great walking out with a close heart pounding win.

I had us losing this game when I made my pre-season predictions so can't complain. Here's to gutting out a tough win tonight and hopefully a nice W and chance to get healthy next week.

Also these targeting calls seem to be getting quite ridiculous.

I have to say that their fans have to be more disappointed with him than some of ours are with Butch. Ridiculous talent all over the field on offense, and they are struggling. Right now, the difference is we have played much tighter games, and we lost to a top 15 OOC team while they beat an average ASU team.

The costs of cleaning even under your argument are damages. Speech usually does not involve a proximate cause of a material effect. You might sell the argument but it would be a miscarriage of justice.

Everything costs money. Feces can stain, I know, I have two kids.

I've always said he's overrated. Johnny, Mike Evans, and 5 nfl OL made him look better than he was, and even then he couldn't win the sec.

They have an awful awful offense and he's supposed to be a guru. People a couple years ago were saying he had his pick of nfl jobs, I was saying he'll be lucky for a power 5 job once he gets fired.
