Please name a QB in the SEC other than Dak that's better than Dobbs?

That's all I'm saying. We have the 2nd best QB in the conference. And he'll be back next year.

Be thankful we have Dobbs rather than pining for someone else.

Considering I'm only talking about his passing, there are 8 QB's in the SEC alone with better passing % and QBR.. I realize numbers aren't everything but, bottom line, he sprays the ball around a bit..

I love Dobbs but I'm not blind. I hope he works this out because with his legs and smarts he would seriously be on Heisman watch.. Not to mention the offense would be deadly.

Sorry boss, I've blocked out the time to do it now. Look for it in the next 30 minutes. :hi:

Riddle me this:

How many traditionally top programs have seen a successful or legendary coach go, and then hit a homerun on the next hire?

Let's set the mark at around 8 wins per season. Timeframe, around the last 20 years

Nebraska lost Osborne, hired a solid Solich, fired him way too prematurely, and has floundered.
FSU seems to have gotten it right from Bowden to Fisher
Florida had Spurrier, then Zook... finally got Urban
Tennessee... nuff said
Bama had a run of failures till Saban
OSU post-Tressell... did they fire the next guy before Urban, or was he just a short-term interim?
Michigan - Carr to Rich Rod to Hoke to Harbaugh.
Oregon - Kelly, and the jury is still out right now on Helfrich
Texas - Mack Brown and the jury is still out on Strong.

Who else do you have here?

Oregon - Bellotti to Kelly was a great transition, though Bellotti staying in the administration likely helped with that

Criticism is sometimes amped when people are hailing someone as better than they actually are. A la Crowder. Dobbs has issues, so people mention the issues, then people like yourself get defensive and sing his praises louder than he probably deserves, so the criticism gets louder than deserved to match. That's just human nature, or "message board nature" in this case.

You can think Dobbs is a good qb, and at the same time say he has accuracy issues.

You try to have this discussion with D4H? Be prepared to sit through the tearjerking saga of racist Nashville that happened to coincide with the same time period Steve McNair started sucking. :cray:

Agree...really enjoying it

Well spent 2hours. Even a small mention of the orange.

The 30/30s are so well done. Could watch them all day but this one might have been the best. It certainly appealed to a variety of emotions

@patrickbrownTFP: DL coach Steve Stripling joked #Vols might have set an NCAA record for holding penalties earned vs. Kentucky last week.

Haha, Breakerboy will like that one.

Bama held more to me. That shxt was ridiculous on big plays too. Sacks would've been 10-12 yard losses instead of 2 yards.

That's true, but this year has been a pretty down season for SEC QBs in general.

Can anyone tell me why crowder got the nod over jones. And it looks like that will be the case again this week.

Does jones just not want to play to frosh next to each other on the line?

They were road grading people.
