It ain't just one here or there. I wish that was all it was. He gets in these hot and cold streaks, almost every single game. And the difference is dramatic. Sometimes almost an entire half, you are seeing him miss one throw after another and wondering how in the hell is he a D1 QB. But then when he snaps out of it, he looks pretty darn good. Just really frustrating, cause this team would have at least 3 more wins under it's belt if he was fairly consistent.

I don't know how people still put the UF and OU loss on Dobbs. Smdh.

I didn't mean to make it sound negative, necessarily. At Tennessee, pressure is absolutely there 100% of the time. I don't EVER feel bad for a coach here.

However, it can bring down good coaches who don't prepare for it, as you say. Hope Jones can pull it off, because this year the pressure got to him, imo.

Agreed, maybe this year taught some things about how this big time pressure cooker works and he will be better prepared next year. Next year is where the rubber meets the road.

I respectfully disagree. UGA was whipping our rear ends and the team battled back from adversity to beat a rival we hadn't beat in 5 years.

We were about to be 2-4, losing to Florida, Alabama, and Georgia for 11, 8, and 6 years in a row, respectfully.

They were ranked and it also may catapault us to the best W/L record we've had since '07.

Now, the goal should be to beat Florida, Alabama, and Georgia every year from here on out.

**** those guys, we don't lose to anyone respectfully!

We might lose to them respectively though :)

USC has the worst run defense in the SEC. I really hope we give Kamara more carries this week. He seemed to have fresher legs than Hurd last week.

We gave Hurd 18 carries and Kamara 4 last week. Assuming we have roughly the same number of runs this week, I'd like to see a 10-12 or 11-11 split this week. I think if we gave Kamara 15 runs, he might break 2-3 long ones off against USC.

Quick!!!! Everyone take the under!!!!!

(just giving you a hard time from your strong convictions about last week's line and o/u)

I did like Kentucky plus the points for sure but it wasn't a play for me.

My big play was the over last week. Winner!!

You guys need to watch more teams than just Tennessee. Lots of QBs miss the easy throws sometimes.

Were you not watching how many passes Patrick Towles missed?

Patrick Towles is not a good qb and he was throwing against a defense that was playing really well. Kentucky defense was trash. Poor comparison.

It's pretty obvious that Dobbs has his share of wtf moments as a passer. I don't know what you're trying to prove with this schtick. Nobody is saying they don't want him as aqb on this team. Just that he doesn't set the world on fire throwing the ball.

Vanderbilt, who has a terrible offense, ran for over 150 yards on South Carolina. They led in time of possession and first downs, but turned the ball over 5 times. This was at South Carolina.

This is the kind of game that Dobbs shouldn't have to throw more than 18-20 times. I expect 250+ yards of rushing from the Vols and very unbalanced possession control close to 40 minutes for the Vols). Final score something like 31-15 Vols.

That kind of game was how I initially saw it, but then I got to thinking about it the question of how does SC stop the Vols offense from scoring on big plays including break away running plays. I think UT gets over 40 easy.

As much as I would like to see this happen, I can't help but think Pharaoh Cooper will get behind us at some point for one long TD....that boy good.

I can't think of a QB USCjr has played against us in the last 6 years who is less likely to hit a wide open Pharoah Cooper streaking downfield though.

He had better do it in the first half because he won't get a chance once Mosley comes back.

I watched him run out of bounds.....or run outside the box and throw it away...........play another down, I guess
