Finally, he had to take a hard look at himself in the mirror when it comes to game plans, adjustments and in-game decisions. Nothing but improvement in all aspects over the past month. From being ridiculed nationally to earning his stripes with the big boys. Great story of redemption. Hope he continues down this path and keeps growing in his role. It will mean great things for the program and fans everywhere.

Good post.

Butch has been excellent the last few weeks. He's changed the narrative from conservative choke artist to rebuilder and master motivator. His kids never stopped coming. Never stopped improving. We look good. Our youth is starting to look a lot less young all of a sudden.

We really are starting to look like an elite team. Wish we could have had an easier start to the season. I would love another opportunity against Florida or Oklahoma right about now.

Also Von Pearson has been money on 3rd downs lately. He's come up big. He hasn't had the splash plays he had last year. But he's been moving the chains and catching the ball when it comes his way.

I find it funny he either falls down after every catch or he's on the ground when he makes the catch.
