What makes you say Kirkland is a great tackler already? I've seen him fail to breakdown and make a play numerous times.

Because if JG plays next season he beat out Sheriron and Dormady for the backup spot...BOTH might transfer if so.

Boro said the QD transferring rumor has legs, but it would likely be after spring (why that long?). Boro was also solidly in the Gruden camp pre-Jones, and he has a pretty loud dislike for the current staff. For what it's worth.

It needs to not be true so this team can actually develop a QB in the system. Most transfers seem to be non-factors, but more QBs would be bad.

I remember AJ always being a good tackler - just not a good playmaker. First three years he was always bringing down RBs 5-6 yards past the line of scrimmage.

Those were more the 1st game or 2 from what I recall.


Since then once he has gotten more comfortable he looks like a pretty sure tackler to me

Oh I know. If he leaves, he will be a redshirt sophomore whenever he ends up... We needed to create another year of separation between him and Dobbs, but couldn't because of Peterman leaving.

The UK-MSU replay is on right now on the SEC network. The UK OL is terrible and the defense is sloooooow. The WR's get open if they have time, but the DL is usually in the backfield pretty quickly.

Homesick is no excuse, IMO. Not commenting on this particular rumor, but I hate hearing about athletes being homesick. Suck it up! /rant

First time really seeing a lot of Matt Elam for UK since he is now the starter at NT with the original starter out for the year. All I can say is he is totally useless. He just gets blown up virtually every play.
