Good question. Could make an argument for either, depending on how certain guys (Ev. Berry, Griffin, Sapp, Preston Williams, Perry) develop and how we close out this recruiting class. Joejuan Williams, Warrior, Davis, and Hardman could all have a direct influence on that decision if they sign here.

Gun to head I'd say safety, but there's a real chance that we miss on Hardman and Davis while landing both Warrior and Williams. If that happens, I think I might leave him at WR.

Agree that it likely comes down to if we land some players in the caliber of Warrior, Davis, Mecole. I think we are most likely to get Warrior, so I'd lean towards Jennings staying at WR.

I think the next five weeks are going to be fun around here boys!

When is the last time TN had a 5 game (possibly 6 with a bowl win) winning streak?

I just sent Freak an email about the exact same thing! :hi:

You guys help me and and post some screen shots in the help forum along with the link to where the ads takes you and I'll have them removed right away. :hi:

Phil Steele has been tracking starters' injuries and how it effects year to year record changes.

In the last 8 years, when teams have lost 34 starts to injury, they have a 70% chance of improving their record the next year.

So, let's add them up.

Maggitt = 11 starts lost
J. Robertson = 1 start lost (so far)
B. Kendrick = 5 starts lost (Alabama onward)
North = 1 start lost
Gaulden = 12 starts lost

That's 30. Then you get into the gray areas with Tuttle (was he starting?) and McNeil.

EDIT: Marcus Jackson is another 12. That's 42 before Tuttle and McNeil.

To answer my own question:

2007 was the last time a TN team won 5 games in a row.

2003 was the last time a TN team won 6 games in a row.

So this team still has a chance to do some big things this season. :rock:

Hey freak I've posted a few times in the help Forum about the screen jumping on mobile when it finishes loading. Care to check it out?

Lions new offensive coordinator is the team's QB Jim Bob Cooter.

Hard to believe the guy is one step away from being an NFL head coach. And I was hoping might come home to be our QB coach. Oh well, guess we'll have to settle for Peyton...

Bama fan that works in my building as a maintenance man, comes and goes wherever he pleases: "You know your kicker Medley tried to kill himself this weekend? He couldn't kick the chair out from under himself though." Me: "GTFO of my office right NOW you f'in a-hole!" Stay classy Bammer. BUCK FAMA! Really pissed me off.

LOL @ Finebaum

Scrolling tweets @the bottom of the screen. They put one up that said something about agreeing with Paul.

The screener totally missed the guys twitter name @ F*** Puig minus the stars!

We literally can't be any closer to being a top team. It is RIGHT THERE!!!!!

Sir, you have a distinct inability to differentiate between not celebrating a loss and appreciating the improvement seen on the field.

I was quoting our head coach. If you don't like the sentiment, feel free to tweet your dissatisfaction to @UTCoachJones.

has anyone heard anything about Jennings moving to safety or is it just speculation? Will be good at either position.

Not sure if its been talked much about, but can we brag a little bit on our two True Frosh starting O linemen going up against a team with a literal NFL defensive line and holding their own?

This team is going to be scary good soon. It might even be this year, but next year we should be top 15 pre-season easily. Especially if we rattle off 5 or 6 straight wins to end the year and end the season 9-4 and ranked about #18-20.
