Hats off to you bud, it's the little things but even on the Auburn boards that comment gets people's panties in a wad. Was not meaning anything degrading and you took it for what it is which is appreciated. Certainly not questioning your info, just a strange recruitment. Haha and its sir, btw.

Basically what happened here in the last 24 hours is a few Debbie downers here on VN posted their feelings when they heard KD's twitter pic had UGA gloves. Those posts were instantly translated by a few lazy readers here on VN into "UT is out of it!"

In other words, just another day here in the recruiting forum. :)

Not getting excited at all for Davis. He may choose us, he may not. I am on the fence about my feelings. I want to get excited and say Butch can do it, but we dont have the best track record when Auburn is heavy in the mix. So I will just sit back watch and hope.

On another note, if for some reason he doesnt choose UT and people come on here and want to say crap like we didnt want him anyway or we told him no, just dont do it. Dont make yourselves look stupid.

We have had some high profile misses (Wright, Lawson, Lambert) but this angle may be a little overplayed here and not just because of the famous Preston Williams visit. They wanted Daniel Bituli bad and have recruited our commitment list as hard as anyone the last two years. We just don't hear much about that because except for Lambert (a JUCO transfer they had a prior relationship with) they have not been successful in flipping anyone - but they have tried like hell.

Of course, that has nothing to do with whatever happens with Davis and like you, I'm not confident.

Smart move to delay the announcement in my opinion. Had already committed and decommitted once. Just let the season play out and get it right this time.

Haha, to each his own. Look at Keith's track record before accusing them. He literally goes on that site and will tell us who we have no chance with. Dude is a gator fan that writes for AU for a paycheck. He lives in ATL. He literally has bias towards AU. He is not a homer. He just put in his crystal ball for Kyle Davis in the past 2 weeks and said Auburn is cautiously optimistic. That's it. He never said he was a lock

I didn't call him an Auburn homer. The 'update' yesterday was worse than garbage. It was detailed garbage.
