Abdul Ado

According to this, coach was in for ado

@EvanDaniels: Hamilton Heights (Tenn.) standout Abdul Ado had coaches from Tennessee, Oregon, LSU & Mississippi State in to see him today, per source.

If CRB and staff can land Ado and Blackwell, that would solidify future rosters and I would like to see CRB lock down the state in basketball recruiting like CBJ has in football.

Again, there are other players there. Not sure what your obsession is with Ado, but Tennessee is not recruiting him.

I don't have an obsession, tell Corey that. everybody is saying we are.

Everybody? Evans corrected himself, the only other is Daniels, that constitutes everybody in your mind? Corey Evans posted that and then later clarified who they were there to see.

When people hear coaches are at HHCA they automatically think Abdul Ado, however not everyone realizes that 4 of the top 20 players in Canada have transferred there.

With Barnes and Lanier's Canadian connections, and HHCA seemingly becoming a 1-2 year destination school for Canadian players, it would be very wise for them to try and build a relationship with that school.

I'm telling you right now though, this staff is not interested in Ado, he does not even have a scholarship offer from this staff.

Huh???

Not recruiting Blackwell??

"Aren't really" is actually what I said.

IMO Blackwell is very far down the board, in fact Rob Lewis just recently stated "if it wasn't for him being a Tennessee kid I'm not sure they'd even be recruiting him at all"....pretty strong words.

Well to say we "aren't really" recruiting one of the only 2 high profile kids on our list seems to be pretty significant info to me

You're silly to think they wasn't watching him. He may not have been the only one, but they were definitely watching him.

No duh, he's on the court, so yes at some point their eyes obviously saw him lol. They probably also saw 12-15 other players on the court, and a few coaches, maybe even a few trainers if you want to get technical lol

Yeah. Probably the best player we could get and we aren't even recruiting him? Seems weird.

Jenkins is a much more highly sought after player, as are multiple guys on our board. If you wanna go simply on rankings, Blackwell isn't the highest rated, and it's very possible won't even finish the 3rd highest player on our board when it's all said and done.

Jenkins is higher ranked and this kids prestige is falling like the stock market on black Monday. But still intersting to say the least

I posted months ago, that if you're saying Fulkerson is a 4, and Blackwell is a 4, that many around CBB think Fulkerson has the higher upside.

Can we have one conversation without those remarks? God, he's like my bball coach all over. A smart ass, Patriots fan....... Weird now that i think about it.

I think he'll end up at the barn. If so I'm curious to see how BP is able to develop him. We know a tenatious style can make athletic but raw look pretty good.
