North has not been healthy and doesn't look like he will have enough off time to get healthy during the season.

That's a shame, we could really use his playmaking ability out there.

Maybe that Matthews dude who got blasted for reporting the bad injury wasn't so far off. Idk

Too late. He's been back-pocketed

Chubb's mother got on facebook with a rant about how UT fans cheered he injury etc. and that's what got the rumor going. I've been to enough games in Neyland to know that if someone actually did do that, the fans around would tell them to sit down and show some respect.

Just butthurt fans who want to make something out of nothing because they lost the game. If they had won despite Chubb's injury none of this stuff would have come out. Sore losers and nothing more.

Bama fans have cheered multiple times with our injuries while I was in attendance.

1985 Tony Robinson blows out his knee in Legion Field. My dad got tickets from his boss who was a Bama grad. Tickets were smack dab in the middle of nothing but Bammers, not a Vol in site. They went crazy when Robinson didn't get up. Loudest cheer all day.

1992 Heath Shuler gets hit from behind on a blitz. Idiot bammer 2 rows in front of me stands and cheers as he didn't get up. Big mistake. In Neyland this time. It was on between him and a guy right beside him.

I know that stuff goes on, but I like to think we are above that kind of trash. Unlike the inbred from south of here.

How Michigan Wolverines got so good so fast under Jim Harbaugh

Good stuff on Harbaugh at Michigan. Michigan could not finish half or games so to change that Harbaugh decided to take the 4 hour per day allotment of practice, meetings, film, etc and turn it into a 4 hour practice. He wants them learning on football field and says if they can make it through 4 hour practices without missing a beat then a 3 hr game is nothing. Nobody else does that but Harbaugh has never been scared to be first to do something

Jennings changing positions and PW/Pearson getting cleared are huge now.

Without them we would only have Malone, Smith, and Johnson. Yikes!

Agreed but if they think he is 100% then they have to do their due diligence and prepare for his threat

Yep. As a die hard fan I want to know my teams injuries as detailed as possible. But if I were in Jones shoes, I would probably be the same exact way w injury reports and shenanigans. Give nothing to the enemy.

PWilly/KDavis could be what we hoped Hunter/Rogers would be. One will be leaping over corner backs and the other with be dragging safeties 30 yards on a slant :)

How crazy would it have been to have had Darick, Hunter and CP at same time? Darick really screwed that up but at same time we might still have had Dooley too long because we might have scored more points that Sal gave up

This pisses me off. That's a load of crap about cheering over Chubb's injury and now it's going to become part of UGA history as though it's fact.

What absurd, mudslinging garbage.

Rolling the dice. More contact time on the football field can mean more injuries by friendly fire. Our tough start, combined with more injuries (potentially) would have had Butch under huge pressure.

That would've been insane but it definitely worked out the best for the future of Tennessee football that it didn't happen haha :)

Yep I remember towards the end of fall camp we were afraid of practice reports because we were afraid of possible injuries that might be revealed

And I think some discussion was had about whether our practices were too physical.

Winning makes you look like a genius no matter what you do. Just win baby

Imagine if Dooley gets Kevin Steele to be his DC, which was his original choice. We probably win 9-10 games in 2012 and he gets a big fat extension.

Then Da'Rick, Hunter, Patterson, and Bray all go to the NFL, leaving Dooley with Worley and no freshman Marquez North to bail him out as our sole offensive playmaker in 2013. We probably win 4 in 2013 and 3 in 2014 and miss all of the legacy players on the recruiting trail.

Yep. Pretty sad indeed. I hate that it turned into this because I actually like Chubb a lot and felt sick when I watched the replay sunday.

How could that be misunderstood? Respectfully Clapping as an injured player gets up or gets off the field or shows that he is ok has been a common practice for as long as I can remember.

It can't, they are full of **** and they and everyone else know it. That absolutely did not happen.

I assume it's structured in a way of teaching slot of non contact stuff. No way you can go 4 hrs of contact hitting without destroying your roster. I don't think we need it as conditioning isn't an issue with our team. Our team just had a mental roadblock and coaches that were scared to remove the leash until they had to vs UGA

Why no North? He committed to Dooley and Butch held onto him I thought.

Prob not since we would hvmave won games. Winning makes people overlook a jerkoff. They just don't want to play for a jerkoff and lose. Crazy how winning changes the perception. Just look at the Butch stuff in past few wks. He was a saint, a devil and a potential Saint again.

One thing about Dooley that is overlooked is the man could hire some dang good assistant coaches minus Sunseri as DC although Sunseri is a great asst coach. Chaney, Wilcox, Pittman, Baggett, Hinshaw, Sirmon, joseph, etc. the problem was Dooley had no clue what he was doing himself. Lol
