From a Dawg Fan ..

First, I want to compliment the Vol Nation on the amount of class you guys have shown in the win .. not just in the win but in the outpouring of support for our injured Big Dawg.

Second, I know Dobbs has been a point of contention for the threads on here, but I really think he would have been better had no one messed with his mechanics before the season. The kid is a gamer and he may never be the most accurate QB, but then again, neither was Tim Tebow and that seemed to work out pretty good. Dobbs had an outstanding game Saturday because dude just wants to win. :clapping:

Lastly, enough of my wallowing in this, time to go give a frustration beat down to Mizzou .. maybe the Dawgs can run the Wild Dawg formation with Sony about 40 times a game and not worry about our QB woes.

Good game SEC bretheren!

Tdawg, thanks for one of, if not, the classiest posts on here ever. God speed to a complete recovery for Nick, another class act. Best of luck for the rest of the season and I hope both of our teams can get to a bowl.

If your took Tebow's "career" completion percentage and compared to current SEC QB's Tebow would be leading the league. He completed over 66% of his passes on his career. Doesn't change your narrative I guess but fact is Tebow was very accurate on the college level.

GLD with true insights, once again....

dawg fan should be cussing his defense......scoring 31, even though their offense only got 17 of them, should have been enough to win that game. Georgia could have given up close to 50 if not for the fumble and Tennessee dropping 3 TD passes on one series and having to settle for a fg.

Defense was gassed by the second half using our patented Grayson Lambert style "Hurry Up and Punt" offense. By the time the 4th quarter started, Dobbs was unstoppable with the Dawgs D not being able to tackle any more. People underestimate how important quality QB play is even when it's not perfect. Dobbs moved chains, Lambert was the 12th man on the punt team.

No issues beating UF at all, except they lost to Treon Harris something like 40-20 last year.

This is oh so true .. but that UF team had a better running game and it wasn't Treon that did anything special to beat the Dawgs.

Lord knows he isn't. Guess I don't get the reference there but Danielson and Verne aren't my faves by any measure so I am up for hearing it.

When Tebow was playing, it seemed they had such a love affair with him. After he graduated they became so infatuated with Alabama. One of the reasons I don't want the Alabama/Tennessee game on CBS, they'll talk nonstop about Saban and Alabama.

Thanks for being a classy rival TDawg.

I play that Nick Chubb will recover in full and play again for UGa and in the NFL.

That young man is a beast and I hope he's back to 100% and my Titans draft him.

Good luck to you the rest of this season.

VFL...GBO!!!

I agree. Minus the barking and hobnailed boot comment most UGA fans aren't too bad, especially when they find a way to beat UF!

Beating UF would make the season feel a little better. But then the jorts sports will use the Grier got suspended excuse. Either way, UGA still has to be able to make throws to move the chains or that will be a looong game. We'll see what we can do for ya.

I felt that the reason UGA lost that game is because the OC was in love with the long ball when he should of just kept hitting the short pass to maintain control of the ball and clock in the 4th quarter. We were not stopping the short passes and UGA was getting excellent YAC on most of those passes.

He was shooting for low percentage passes on 3rd down when all he needed was a first down. He was just giving the ball back to UT for no reason.

While I agree with the concept, the OC knows his QB can't hit those consistently so they go as wasted downs. It's one of the big issues we have with this QB .. one of many

Yeah I don't know why but I can never muster up the hate for UGA like I have for Florida or Alabast*rd. I guess because I was in the Marines with a few dawg fans and always had a mutual respect during football season. Don't get me wrong, I want to beat the tar out of them every season, but for them to be one of our rivals it's not like I can't stand them.

Dude is too inconsistent .. I read all the posts on here about Dobbs saying the same thing leading up to the game but we saw which one could make throws a bit more regularly, plus, Dobbs has the luxury of turning on the jets when the arm isn't paying off. Lambert has a few issues right now so it could be tough to game plan around our own QB
He has no problem throwing the deep ball, so if I were Richt, I'd be trying to hit 'em deep pretty often. Even when the WR is well covered, Lambert put it on the money. Only thing that can stop that is having a safety over the top. That should soften up the run defense.
