Not a big fan of the Straight 8, but YMMV. I'm a traditional 3 dot shooter myself.

I assume you are talking a 1911?

P229 Elite

I've always been a 3-dot guy but I've heard people that like Str8ts REALLY like them. I'm not a huge fan of the current sights and am looking at all the options.

I know a lot of folks that love the XS Big Dot system. You might look at that.

And if you are looking for spare P229 mags, I have a bunch I'm selling. The Mec-Gar 15 rounders.

(I also have a 229 SAS Gen 1 with E2 grip and SRT for sale lol)

The BD's would be in that same category, though they go with more of the "dot the i" idea. (Their 24/7 Big Dot looks like it would be really fast but if aesthetics matter to you it seems ungainly)
