Shy Tuttle out for the season

I wish Richt would suspend that player, but that will never happen. Classless

Better watch what you say about the right reverend Richt.
Many here love him. Despite the fact that him and his staff are UTs top recruiting nemesis.
He is the only real moral upstanding man in the sec - just ask him - blue font.

This is very disappointing, but on the brighter side, recovery from a broken fibula is much quicker than what Chubb is probably going to go through with torn ligaments in his knee.

Shy may be back for '16 spring - O/W game. Chubb is probably out 12+ months. His cutting ability as a RB will be the last skill to develop fully.

Sad news for Shy. While I wish Chubbs a speedy recovery, his injury was a freak happening. Shy's injury was the result of dirty play... Brandon Kublanow

I'm no doctor but I did snap my tibia and fibula in half playing flag in college.... the fibula should be fine in a few weeks I'm sure the ankle is what is scarier for the big guy....

Jeesh, broken bone AND torn ligaments. This will be a lengthy rehab process and may impact at least the start of next season.

Yep, broken fibula. That really sucks.

Is it is just the fibula, depending on the break he might be back sooner than what people think, at least I hope.

Edit: nvm saw that it's torn ligament also. That's what will hold him out.

Sucks for him and the team but at least it is the bye week and the next man up gets extra reps for two weeks.

I saw that too. For the last three years I've not seen a team that holds as consistently as Georgia. They stick to our players like magnets.

After October 24th, you'll probably retract that statement. I agree, Georgia is pretty bad. From an OL point of view, why not hold because the refs rarely call it unless they feel like it.

Absolutely illegal. You are not allowed to go low on a player unless you are facing the other players. The side and back are illegal.

Let's just assume for a second that it was legal. If the NCAA truly has the players safety as a main point of emphasis, they really need to make this kind of block illegal.

That is a good point. SEC referees are truly consistently inconsistent. That picked up flag on the kick off return was important. It equaled 7 points. That call could have won the game for Georgia's terrible offense.
