I have an idea that I'm sure many will think is stupid on here but here goes...

You know how Ohio state, the Bulldogs, and many other teams put the stickers on helmets thru the year for a player making plays etc etc? How about the Vols start off with a solid orange stripe, then start adding white squares to make the checkerboard? Then if they fill the stripe up start adding orange squares on the rest of the helmet to keep the pattern going.

I'm pretty sure I know how this idea will blow over on here considering how the thought of alt jerseys goes. But just an interesting idea I had.
