Some of yall need to realize that if this were true, then it would be best if it were handled quietly. We dont want this sort of national attention. Show Jones the door, but make sure it's a new AD showing him the door and not Dave Hart. We need to get rid of Dave Hart before we make another coaching decision. Period.

When I need to validate a story I look for LWS. He has verified this. When I need info on certain players I look for Steeler, he has verified this. When I look for uniform info it's DeerPark. There are certain posters here that are spot on every time they post and wouldn't say other wise unless they knew.

This definitely appears to be true to all of those saying stop spreading rumors.

Well we are 2-3 right now. Got Georgia, Alabama and at Kentucky. We could be 2-6. Put Rickmond, Jones, and others in the O-line and let them play. What is it going to hurt? Then you can't use the inexperience next year. Plus our DBs get beat all the time and that's just bad. We should of know this when we played Bowling Green the first game of the year. You don't get beat deep like in the Florida game. Not that late in the game.

They know far more about what's going on behind the scenes in terms of player suspensions, injuries, etc., that they never report precisely because the coaching staff doesn't want them to report it.

They may not necessarily be trying to protect Butch's employment, but they aren't going to go out of their way to report something that could get him fired.

Every move is under a microscope and every detail is picked with a fine toothed comb. Most people didn't even know who he was before we went after him.

Cheek and the incompetents at the University wouldn't say a word about this - after all you can't sell "BUTCH PLEASE" and "buTch" and "Brick by Brick" merchandise if your HC is under investigation for assaulting a player. Ruins their narrative.

So is Cheek an enemy of the program or complicit in their abuse? Someone really needs to make up their minds here

Depends on your perspective I suppose. I can see a University turning a blind eye and hoping it all goes away when they've built the HC up as being such a great guy and running things "the right way" and he's selling a ton of merchandise for the University.

As bad as Butch seems to be, losing our HC mid season would be a complete disaster. Who would be interim? Debord? Not suggesting he doesn't deserve it if the Crowder rumor is true, but this could turn out very bad for us. I wouldn't be so giddy about this rumor if I were some of you. I'm off the Butch bandwagon too, but things like this could set us back years again.

I don't think anybody can afford to do that with as much money as there is at stake and the way everything is on camera and so many people standing around. I'd be shocked if this was more than a shove or a grab of the Jersey.

Some of you makeup crap just to make yourselves feel good, yeah Steeler is never wrong and LWS never said it was true. You act as if Steeler is the only person who may or may not know an ex-player. There are parents of players on here and one would think if they played for a physically abusive coach they would speak out considering their son plays here but then again logic is short supply these days. I am sure he ninja kicked North and chest slapped Pig which is why they both didn't play yesterday. I heard it happened.

At least UK has basketball and Vandy has baseball to fall back on. We suck in those sports too lol. Hell even the Lady Vols are a shell of their former selves. Depressing times indeed.
