I can tell you one thing, I am tired of being the running joke of the SEC. Now I know how vandy and kentucky have felt for a long time. Sucks, but is where this program is right now

For those who care about Volnation sources, LWS and SteelerVol are both rock solid. Steeler has confirmed the punching story. To my knowledge LWS has confirmed only that he heard the story.

John Brice is literally ON Butch's show. He and Brent Hubbs have a vested interest in keeping Butch Jones employed. He gives them inside access to the program that other media outlets don't get.

Not really. His out is per sources or someone he has talked to. He is not claiming first hand knowledge. Not that it disqualifies what he was told or the truth of it.

The employment part doesnt make sense. Im sure he is reporting what he is told. That doesnt make it legit or true but that's what he got.

Yeah, he is reporting what he's told. But he's also not going to dig any deeper than that.

They know far more about what's going on behind the scenes in terms of player suspensions, injuries, etc., that they never report precisely because the coaching staff doesn't want them to report it.

They may not necessarily be trying to protect Butch's employment, but they aren't going to go out of their way to report something that could get him fired.
