2016 Election

I read an article that said that voter turnout was down to 58% in the 2012 election, and that if whites and blacks had voted at the rates that they normally did, that Romney would be President today.

The article went on to say that whites were unenthused about Romney, and that blacks voted in far greater numbers than usual for Obama. Overall, the vote was down because a larger percentage of white voters stayed home.

They said that not only would the 5 million vote deficit have been made up with the number of whites that voted in 2004, but Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, and Colorado would have gone Repub , thereby giving the electoral college win to Romney.

Why do you have to keep rubbing it in 72? I'm traumatized enough at the last seven years ..😱

Excellent article by Dr. Paul Craig Roberts regarding the list of GOP nominees.

"There is not a peaceful person among the Republican candidates. Even the female is heartless."

Here is Carla Fiorina at the debate describing the way she will lead us to Armageddon. She won’t talk to Putin, but she will send him “the message” via military threats:

“Having met Vladimir Putin, I wouldn’t talk to him at all. We’ve talked way too much to him. What I would do, immediately, is begin rebuilding the Sixth Fleet, I would begin rebuilding the missile defense program in Poland, I would conduct regular, aggressive military exercises in the Baltic states. I’d probably send a few thousand more troops into Germany. Vladimir Putin would get the message. . . . Russia is a bad actor, but Vladimir Putin is someone we should not talk to, because the only way he will stop is to sense strength and resolve on the other side, and we have all of that within our control. We could rebuild the Sixth Fleet. I will. We haven’t. We could rebuild the missile defense program. We haven’t. I will.”

I am glad that last paragraph did not happen. Romney would have been a worse disaster than Obama, imo.

"heartless" What a complete crock of shiite. I guess it is MUCH more compassionate to increase the number living below the poverty line and those on food stamps and other government assistance.

Liberals are completely brain dead.

Who is that directed towards? Neither me or Paul Craig Roberts have been advocating expanding the welfare state.

seriously?

If she can stay out of jail and win the Democratic nomination, there is a chance I would vote for her if Jeb/Christie/GOP insider wins the GOP nomination. It would also depend on what independent candidates decide to run. But likely, I will put my chips all in on Hillary for the win.

She is quite possibly the worst thing that could ever happen to this country. That's why she needs to win.

Anything that helps Putin, right?

This isn't about Putin. This country is dying from the inside out, not from any external threats.

Hillary Clinton is our only hope of getting to the real change this country needs.

A Hillary election won't lead to a dissolution of the Federal Reserve and a return to the gold standard.

He thinks Hilary would lead to the United States dissolving and collapsing into anarchy.

Not that he's prepared for what he wishes for.

Seek treatment. Seriously, I get what you are saying, but to actually wish for the downfall of this country by electing that **** is just insane.

It is going to crash anyways... either you deal with it now, or try to kick the can down the road and make the collapse much worse.

We have too much going against us right now... and aging demographic, low birth rates of native born citizens (which makes us dependent o illegals), $18 triilion+ of debt, a service based economy vs a manufacturing economy and a dying American culture that doesn't embrace the Bill of Rights/small Federal govt, traditional family structure or self-reliance and accountability.
