I would not overplay Khalil's impact. He didn't even really play against BGSU and by all accounts is not in condition yet. I think he'll play and do well but I'd rather have Dany O. Wasn't he one of the guys that had a sack?

Rotation of Williams, Vickers, Tuttle, and Kmac sounds damn good to me.

We will be fine through the Western Carolina game without Danny O. Really need him back by the UF game, though. Hope whatever he did isn't too serious.

Yeah Danny O'Brien is awesome. That's a big loss for sure. But we do strangely have some depth there. Not a bad deal to look to your bench and see Kahlil McKenzie waiting in the wings.

Kahlil is going to break out and dominate at some point this year. It's just a matter of time. Why not now?

With OU being a team that uses a hurry-up offense I am not so sure how ready KMac is for this game. If he truly was breathing heavy after 2 plays in the BG game then he may not play much. It is hard to sub as a D when the opponents O is using a hurry up. I fear a little for Tuttle's and KMac's conditioning.

People keep sleeping on Tuttle. He will see more action than Khalil this Saturday. Benefit of getting in early.

DOB is yet another big loss for the defense in a huge game. No other way to slice it. One of the most experienced guys on our defense who has been playing great. Man I wish we could just keep our players on the field.

@Volquest_Paul: Butch non-commital on WR starts. Said they don't have starters as they play a lot of guys. "We need to play 10 wide receivers."



I don't really like this. I know guys need breathers but leave North in there and let him work.

Yeah I'm not exactly sure why everyone is saying it's "no big deal" & "not a huge loss"

Well...we do get back Pig and it sounds like Martin will play a huge role this week. Oh, and McNeil can be officially taken off the "out for the season" list. Not all bad news today.

Doug Matthews was saying that's his biggest criticism of butch, he won't let his playmaker stay out and make plays.

It will be ok. Highly doubt he would have started all year..just hope the reason isn't crazy.

This fanbase has got such a glass jaw. Danny O'Brien suspended? Our coach is Ron Zook. Not setting a starting lineup for the WRs? Our coach won't let his playmakers make plays.

We need to win in the worst way. The hand wringing gets exhausting.

Danny O'Brien gets suspended probably for missing a class or a little puff of the reefer and Joe Mixon broke a girls face in half and will probably score two TDs.

Sometimes I wish Butch would do like other coaches and held this suspension off till next week and bring him back for UF.
