@rockytopinsider: Butch Jones says that Todd Kelly Jr. is 100% and will be able to start on Saturday. Said the defense calmed down when TK entered the game.

I hope you are right Jave. I think we will see a much better Product in regards to our Defense later in the year but with from the struggles I saw Saturday including getting Kirkland up to speed at linebacker and getting Jumper out of there we are really going to struggle stopping anyone with this front loaded schedule.

I think OU wins by 14 Although I hope I'm wrong.

Haha, I completely forgot about Kahlil missing time. Yeah, that might be a factor in conditioning.

I thought McNeil wouldn't be a big loss, but it sure hurt Saturday. I think TKJr will be good though. McNeil has experience which helps in positioning.

I have given you a hard time before because you are one confusing cat. Outside of football, I don't like hearing someone talk like this even if they were a Bama fan. :)

Check out Inky since you like football and know the only thing that has helped me to fight some of the same issues has been the Lord. I still mess up all the time but he even loved the Assyrians who were like Isis today to send a prophet to tell them they were going to be destroyed. They repented and he saved Ninevah because they were his children and he loved them and he loves you. We will still not be perfect and even be a little crazy on this board. Football is great and so are the Vols but Jesus can give you peace.

Kelly is our best safety IMO. I have thought that for a while. Getting him and Martin back will fix some of the problems.

Getting Martinez back in the booth will help a ton also

Does OU's Qb have the capability to hurt us on the zone read like BG did??

We took BG running game away very nicely until they QB hit some runs in the 3rd QT.

He's got wheels but from what I understand OU is trying to keep him in the pocket more and focus on the air raid.

I think LWS looks at Tennessee through the prism of Alabama, and sees all our weaknesses.

If you look at this year's team through the prism of the last eight years of Tennessee football, you have a ton of reasons to be very excited. That's how I prefer to see it.

They may see the film of our 3rd QT and see that the zone read QB keeper can hurt us. If not I doubt they can run on us very much at all

He was openin Von's long reception. When the game was live i was thinking there was someone else open to the right streaking down the field. I saw the replay. It was Preston with a few steps on his man...

I don't think they're a zone read offense are they? He only had 8 yards rushing.

Completely agree. Not having Willy definitely hurt, also not starting TK hurt. Some say it was a mistake but if he really has been ill in some way getting him 100% for
OU was more important than letting up less than 30 against BGSU.

Another big area that needs fixing before OU is the kicking game. Medley can't miss two really make-able FGs against a team like OU or UGA and it not bite us in the ass. Our ST could have been considered the best in the country week one had a few small things gone differently.

He really didn't look bad out there IMO after watching the full game live once and most of the replay. Good hops, good speed, just needs to learn how to get open at the college level a little bit better
