Eh, I think if Western doesn't have all those drops early, they end up winning going away. I think it was way more Western got into their own heads with the drops and that stalled their O, more than Vandy was playing great D.

The ones there saying 2-10 is the reality, what team other than Austin Peay are they going to beat? They aren't beating an SEC team, not happening.

MTSU? That's the only possibility but it's at MTSU and MTSU will have that game circled. They sure as heck aren't winning at Houston.

Other than the QB, What other players for Western Kentucky would be on an SEC two deep? That defense Vandy has played tough for what they are, mostly second/3rd team SEC Players.

When they play the big boys, they will get crushed severely after the first half.

If anything MTSU will be even more motivated to beat them now that WKU did it.

This probably won't be the most popular opinion, but coaching wasn't the problem last night. CDM called a hell of a game defensively, and the OC has a track record of success. I think given the HS talent he had to work with he didn't call an awful game.

I'd like to say I'm very upset about Vanderbilt losing last night. No, wait. I love the fact the Commodedoors are 0-1. As long as the Earth goes around the Sun, I hope Vandy never wins another game. I hate that school. Hate it!

I totally agree. And this is why good coaches don't like going to the crappy schools. But ss I posted before... how can the roster deplete that much in 1 year. Last they sucked and again this year. Franklin had that baby stacked!! It's crazy. Just show's recruiting is everything!!

and one thing MTSU will be able to do this yr is run the ball. Should be decent on defense. Their defense is way better than WKUs and Vandy couldnt score on them lol. MTSU will be jacked up for that one too. They know they can win it.

He is one hell of a defensive coach.

Andy Ludwig might be worse than Karl Dorrell as an OC, though.

That's the great part, the Vandy fans just thought it was Dorrell.

He did what every SEC coach should against an inferior team.

Blitz consistently and run man coverage. SEC DBs should be better than C USA WRs. Don't let the QB get a chance to sit there and throw.

I don't know why the abandoned the option. McCrary had like 2 carries in it and got 10-15 yards a pop. Vandy OTs were sealing the line backers and the D end crashed every single time.
