Mason's post-practice press conferences are so indicative of Vandy's program. I've watched a few where there is exactly one reporter--Adam Sparks--interviewing him.
Can you imagine if Patrick Brown was the only dude who bothered interviewing Butch after practice?
So I was over there for my daily chuckle, and there is a poster who says his key to the season is that Vandy needs to score 31 points a game. Ha! Seriously. Other than Peay, do you see ANY game where they score 31 points?
Date Opponent Time TV
Sept. 3 Western Kentucky (better O than D, but still)
Sept. 12 Georgia (No.)
Sept. 19 Austin Peay (They don't need your permission!)
Sept. 26 Ole Miss (Vandy may not score at all)
Oct. 3 MTSU (Doubtful)
Oct. 17 South Carolina (No.)
Oct. 24 Missouri (Nope.)
Oct. 31 Houston (although AAC, honestly a better team)
Nov. 7 Florida (Frustrated FL=Bad News)
Nov. 14 Kentucky (UK bad is better than Vandy bad)
Nov. 21 Texas A&M (4 TDs and a FG? No way.)
Nov. 28 Tennessee (could be ugly)
I honestly believe that Austin Peay will be the only win for Vandy all year. They should be getting ready to make a run at Fuente as soon as the @## beating we give them on Nov. 28 is over.

What would happen if Vandy PR ran everyone's Twitter:
What if Vanderbilt PR ran all of college football's Twitter feeds?

Re: Observations from Dore Jam today?

The team was noticeably more upbeat than last year. The RBs seemed pretty subdued, but cordial. The WRs were playful and very friendly...some say that's the norm for the WR position. I had my two boys with me, and the table where they had the most fun was the OLB table. Weatherly was awesome to my kids. So engaging and friendly. It was good to see.
Another observation, if you got your poster signed by the LB table, Josh Smith put a big "X" over both MTSU and UT on the schedule before signing. He's probably pretty upset about the UT treatment of Kyle Oliver...or he just hates UT. Either way, I like it, and while I may be in the minority, I hope to see Kyle Oliver at this event next year.
So I haven't seen this posted yet, but apparently vandy has decided to make practices shorter than everyone else saying that they are gonna go faster in a shorter amount of time(thinking it will be more effective I guess). Not really sure how that makes sense, I'll post the article anyway.
