1. Ludwig will not go with the heavy passes downfield that lead to drives of under two minutes. Ludwig will stretch the field and open up the playbook so that we can run. What?

2a. Ludwig is bringing a new play book that works. Ludwig will be running a lot of the same big body plays we saw last year. What?

2b. We have good "big" schemes. Our offensive line is terrible. what?

3. The East is down. But the scheduling is way too hard. What?

4. returning a lot of good defensive players. vandy was last in the SEC in every category! What?

like you said a lot of it contradicts itself.

they are pumped about their new unis. Thats about all thats going on. Releasing another this weekend. They will officially have more uni combos than wins this year.

whats funny is they dont even realize how truly thin their team is. They are below average at 100% healthy. They are absolute garbage if they lose anyone else on Offense and Defense.

This is just too funny. First the guy talks about how the East is down, and they managed to miss the best West teams, then he tries to say how tough the SEC schedule is. But the best part is how he calls their joke, in the playoff era, of an OOC schedule tough when they don't have a single Power 5 opponent.

But what else can you expect from a team that bragged about how great they were when they could only win 9 games, when 4 of those wins were against the worst OOC schedule ever played by a power 5 team and the East truly was down.
Oh but wait thats right, the East is down now and was at its peak then and they weren't afraid to play anyone, CJF bought out those OOC games because those teams weren't worthy and replaced them with the best teams that the rest of the SEC was "scared" to schedule. They were just so good then that they made the rest of the East look down and the East and OOC teams they played only finished bad because they were so thoroughly destroyed by the awesomeness that Vandy was then.

I have a question-I was just over on their site and there is a thread about their OOC schedule. Why doesn't Vandy play Memphis regularly? That seems like a match made in heaven for both teams. It would be an easy drive for everyone, the teams are usually about on par with each other-could be a built in rivalry every year. For at least one week a year a good number of people in the state would be talking about those schools. What gives?

For the same reason they don't go down the road to play MTSU every year...after several losses in a row (including one to come this fall), they saw the writing on the wall.

I would take Memphis over Vandy in football right now 9 out of 10 times, no question.
