This Vet Accused Feds of Coming for His Guns... So 1 Sheriff and 100 Locals Showed Up and Did This

However, the National Rifle Association recently reported that the Social Security administration was also gearing up for a similar gun grab by disallowing seniors who they had deemed as “lack(ing) the mental capacity to manage their own disability payments” from owning firearms.

That new provision was estimated by the NRA to be one of the largest gun grabs in history, with up to 4.2 million Americans potentially affected.

If mental acuity is required to own a weapon they'll have their hands full disarming the liberals. Nothing surprises me anymore.

Stupidity isn't quite the word I would use...

‘Anti-gun stupidity’: Honolulu destroys $575G worth of police firearms | Fox News

Second Amendment advocates are firing away at a decision by Honolulu officials to destroy $575,000 worth of perfectly good handguns in a move one critic called the “height of anti-gun stupidity.”

Some 2,300 Smith & Wesson 9 mm handguns, including at least 200 that are brand-new and in unopened boxes, were issued to the city’s police department. But with the 2,200-member force upgrading to lighter and less expensive Glock 17s, the guns were set to be permanently holstered. While it is customary throughout the country for departments to auction the guns to law-abiding citizens, including the police who once carried them, or donate them to another department, Honolulu opted to destroy them.

Roughly 2200 guns. Let's say for ****s and giggles they only sold them for 200 a pop. This is a low number... But just for the sake of things, 200 each. 440 thousand. But what city could use those funds? Not Honolulu....

That's what they do here. Matter of fact it was about a month ago. The police auctioned off all the weapons seized in crimes. Generated money for the city.

Just taxpayers money, AMIRIGHT?

I'm utterly shocked any type of government officials would waste tax payers money! Blue font intended. They do this crap, then election time get up and promise not to to it.

“There's a reason that Hawaii has the lowest gun death rate in the country,” he added.

Hmmm... perhaps because it's in the lowest 20% of states based on population size?? Or maybe the fact it's a tiny island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean??

No, no, I got it! Criminals can't afford to live there and rappers only visit for vacation! BOOM
