I guess it's looking that way at this point....crazy. Man I had high hopes for him!
Yes i thought he was saving him, like he was trying to save Dobbs, but when he didnt put him in before he put a player in with 2 blown out knees and barley could walk much less play and start that should have told the story.:eek:hmy:

Whats the problem with Blair he looks like a NFL tackle is the mental part of the game or he is just a look a like College Tackle with all the tools but no talent, sometimes it happens.

How does Richmond look, i know in time Jones will be a beast he has that killer drive inside of him, plus that mean streak you cant teach, think if Blair had the same drive as Jones.

We were very weak at LT and C based on last years games.. Only Potential change is at Center of the 2

All i remember about last years line Thomas getting mauled play after play, i never felt so sorry for a guy in my life as i did for Thomas, but he was playing against future first and second round NFL drafts picks every Saturday and he was only a Freshmen.

And he was playing out of position.

A caller specifically asked Hubbs about Blair this afternoon on the radio and he said consistency has been his problem. Hopefully it clicks for the big guy...I'm pulling for him.

We have the talent everywhere on the field. Except here. This is where we win or lose a few games. They better get a lot better.

Chance Hall is really athletic and has the strength to play tackle. Jack Jones is atheltic, but needs strength.

Chance Hall is going to be awesome I believe.

That Mosley more or less held his own against KMAC in the circle tells me that moving him to OG was a solid move.

OL, especially LT and C are the spots on the team that worry me most. We may have improved a bit but not much.

Crowder going up against a true NT will be pushed into the backfield on every play, combo blocks will be necessary on the left side.

I expect a lot of runs and roll outs, to the right this year.

I think our defense is going to have to play lights out against OU and UGA to have a chance there. Fortunately we have the a much better line on that side of the ball

Our defense is going to have to keep us in most games. The teams we play, know what we have in Dobbs now. Defensive coordinators will take away our right side and put pressure on Dobbs to make down field throws.

Look for single coverage on WR and betting that Dobbs won't make the throw under pressure.

Ive been told the OL as a group still has a long way to go still.

Having a healthier WR group :)crossfingers:) will help. By the time he hit the field last year that unit was in rough shape and getting worst. He's gonna have to be semi accurate passed 20 yrds for the O to move against the better teams no doubt.

The D is almost ready to be trusted for a game when needed.

Well, yeah.

It's going to take more than just 1 year for this group to progress to the point that we need them to

The way it was explained, it didn't sound like it would look that much different than last year. This person was not comparing them to a NC caliber squad, which he would know what looks like on a practice field.

Disappointing. We will live and die by our OL.
