'15 TN TE Kyle Oliver (UT Signee 2/4/15)

I am more curious about who the other freshman that Swain mentioned on Twitter.

It makes no sense for him to say that on Twitter. If someone does leave he can say yeah that's who I was talking about but if no one leaves he can say "Well I don't want to tell you who it was and hurt the kid's reputation." Now he just creates speculation and we end up questioning some kids who are doing everything right. He isn't risking any credibility.

That meme could not have been more poorly placed.

I know you didn't mean to, Ron.

I had a few too many adult beverages last night and don't even remember posting on VN. I certainly didn't mean any disrespect to RR or anyone else. My bad, it's now deleted.

Or maybe he had an increase of THC in his system. I would imagine the people administering the tests would be aware of people who already tested positive and what to look for to see if they are still smoking weed.

One thing I might add.. Depending on how the test is performed, the lab can measure a level also.. So it is true that THC stays in your system for a long period of time, but, if they are checking for it, the level on the second test should have decreased if he quite using. If it showed higher a higher level, obviously he didn't stop using.

Drug screens can be for pos/neg only or can be scanned for therapeutic levels. If a person is on prescription xanax for instance, and takes a set daily amount. This person applies for a job and fails the drug screen obviously, the employer can check to see if the blood levels for benzos match the prescription. I have seen this done by my own work.

Charles was initially stopped for speeding, he may have not used but his passenger may have, hence the residue.. I'm thinking this is why Charles submitted to blood test. Why his discipline was handled different. This is JMO.

When does this become an indictment on the staff and potentially their evaluations? The fanbase roasted Kiffin and Dooley for the attrition (whether it was criminal, grades, laziness etc) even though they "laid down the law" as well (especially Kiffin, and he did it at USC too). But Butch and Co seem to get a pass and its "good riddance" to the players, "Butch don't play around", "Butch is changing the culture".

I'm not blaming this staff for the issues, as these athletes are adults and have been given an incredible opportunity and responsibility, but the tone of the fanbase is a 180 from what it was with the previous staffs when the same type situations arose.

Kiffin rashly cut players in a wholesale manner without any plan. He kept thugs and poor students for the next coach. He is a complete idiot.

Dooley is a complete idiot. No explanation needed

:hi: jmo, imo, need good bbq, gtfooh, etc.

to bowling greens question i think the difference is how the coaches act. Kiffin was pushing the just win mentality and was living a questionable life himself, there it is hypocritical. Dooley had no idea what he was doing. Butch is holding the players and himself responsible, so he is not the hypocrite that Kiffin was. also butch is pushing these 4th and 1 things and the family environment trying to head off these behaviors, Kiffin did none of that. also I don't remember Kiffin or Dooley kicking off a lot of kids for pot use. there were some of the worst case users, but Butch seems to hold a heavier line, fewer chances, better testing etc.

Do I need to remind anybody who and why the Fulmer Cup was named after?

I'm not saying attrition is a problem or abnormal. It's amusing how the fanbase twists dismissals depending on who the coach is.

FTR, I'm not referring to the dismissals of Fulmer holdovers on the roster. I'm referring to Kiffins actual class.

The difference to me is numbers. Look at the class sizes. You bring in 22 and lose 6, you have a problem. You bring in 33 and lose 6, you still have more than a full class. It's a numbers/logistics game that makes it less concerning. IMO.

He cut Richardson, Edwards, pulled the Ohio kids offer who shot the BB gun, suspended Janzen for his role in the pilot deal etc. Folks are missing the point that I'm referencing how he handled his own class, not the roster as a whole. Most of these guys getting in trouble are Butch's guys, just like they were Kiffin's guys. Both handled the discipline side very well IMO. But one is commended for his handling of said issues and one is condemned for taking the players in the first place.

From my perspective its a volume thing...CBJ has had a few issues that have come to light and he's dealt with them in what appears to all to be a consistent manner. Kiffin's class came cross as a bunch of thugs to me. Dooley appeared to have been lost in tall weeds?

To be fair, none of Butch's guys have done anything near as dumb as the BB gun incident.

No, no. You were hacked and you need Freak to delete your account ASAP. Get with the program, Ron.
