Justin Martin possibly gone (update: not gone)

I would be fine if Bob just went away for good. I would rather hear it from Jimmy Hyams 3 weeks later. Trust me we don't need negative publicity with how difficult recruiting is in today's world.

Yeah let's wait and hear it from Jimmy.
Breaking News from Jimmy: Brandon Stewart transferring to Texas A&M film at 11

better check Bob's stats

From what you've seen? I can't remember when he came in but I thought January. So? Workouts with Lawson? Interactions with coaches ...players? Practice with other players? How he walks to class? If you get a gander of him in some or all of these situations and actually overhear coaches talking about it? I'd say you have a legitimate angle but if you're reading body language and guessing on the rest? I have as much of an inside angle here in Little Elm. :hi:

Don't want to intrude into this too much, but if you take a stroll through DP's past posts on this board it can be pretty quickly deduced that the scope of his/her employment within athletics involves spending time directly interfacing with both coaches and student-athletes. Out of respect for his/her privacy, I won't elaborate further but suffice it to say that personnel directly responsible for athletic performance (coaches, trainers, etc) are just a part of the total sum of individuals who interact with student athletes on a daily basis. For example, another respected poster on this board works in the Thornton Center and interacts with SAs in that way. There's also nutrition, groundskeeping, equipment, admin/support, and Vol Network personnel, just to name a few other areas. It's possible and even likely that any of those people could have seen enough of a certain SA to be able to make a personal judgment call on their character.

Hope this is clear as mud!

I worked a 14 hour shift last night, so I got home at 7 this morning. When I wake up today around 2 and check my phone I see this thread. I've tried to make sense of all this. So Justin Martin was gone, but now he never left. Glad I worked through all this madness.

I dont think it was ever said that he was gone. The most I ever saw is that his release was signed. Butch called his bluff and not one word of that exchange should have ever left the locker room.

I know who he/she is now. :)

Because we don't need to know every last detail of what goes on in the locker rooms and meeting rooms.

Some stuff should just stay there.

Wish I could like this post more than once! We have a lot of people on here who never played football at any level. What happens in that locker room should stay there end of story. We don't need to know every single detail that happens there. I hope Bob is found out, what he does hurts the program in the long run and it will end bad eventually. I can't tell you how many fights happened in our locker room but it never left that building. Football is physical and some times things have to be handled behind closed doors and we don't need someone reporting to thousands of people every time there is a disagreement.

Funny how a bunch on here are giving Bob crap for being wrong. I always said his stats were crap. Most on here said he was legit and spot on.
