The "Commit to the G" is what made him sound like a mutt fan.

I know where you're coming from, but there has been plenty of discussion on this board about UGA's "commit to the G" slogan and have no problem with anyone referencing to a player they believe will end up committing to them, Vol fan or not. Wish people would stop trying to build themselves up by attacking others. If you don't believe someone has valid info, why not make a "note to self" and see what happens and let the rest of us enjoy their input as we choose. As has already been said several times, we will all know if the poster is valid or not, just let events unfold over time. Time is the greatest lie detector ever invented!!

Not intended for you JV, just sayin!

I never questioned the right or wrong of what he said. I even began by stating time will tell whether he is right or wrong. I was in fact questioning what sounds like the way they handle business in GA. Sounds kind of shady to me

ie........"funding the recruiting effort"........"part of the recruiting conduit"......"boosters"

Those things just don't sound like they should all go together to me.

If you can't tell this guy is an obvious troll, you are old and naive.

He stated nothing a VFL wouldn't already know, and also made a reference to that terrible slogan.

We already know Warrior's father hasn't put any pressure on him and we know Hardman is immensely intrigued by UGA.

Is that why we can't have nice things?

This is why we can't have nice things.

We have a great board. And a great team on the uprise with a coach that can recruit with the best of the best. I'd say we have lots of nice things, and would kindly disagree with you.

Now after pointing out some facts, care to elaborate on what AtlVol has brought to the board other than what's already been stated..

Oh and Neyland's pretty nice too.

I've never heard Jayson's program, but, in your opinion, is "let them play their game" code for allowing wide receivers to complete their collegiate careers and still be in need of remedial route running 101 before embarking on their NFL careers? 'tis the most fundamental skill for their position and yet it is embarrassing just how sloppy many of them are in that respect.

Jayson has definitely wondered out loud if whether or not Z's excruciating teaching of "attention to detail" regarding the WR position has "tied up the feet with the mind".

One example he gave was of coach Z one time telling Pearson that he shouldn't have worried about trying to avoid/making a defensive player miss (which he did by making a move to the inside of the field after making a catch), he should have gone to the outside of the field near the sideline. Jayson's point was, "the defensive player played him to the outside and the only way to get additional yardage was to do what Von did, which was make him miss by going back to the center of the field"....said sometimes Z gets too caught up in teaching a rigid technique rather than teaching the concept with some technique and then just letting his WRs react athletically. Thinks this has been part of their problem. Then add in the group's collective poor route running and lack of aggression when it comes to getting off press coverage, and you get the general criticism of the job Z has done/is doing IMHO.

I wasn't gonna say anything until he said "commit to the G." That just sounds like a dawgs fan trying to play some covert tricks. Its possible what he's saying is true. I just don't believe him.

Are we bound to believe everyone who purports to be an insider now?

You don't think he was saying "commit to the G" in a tongue in cheek manner? Because that's how I read it.

He was saying it in a retaliatory fashion...when doubters started popping up. Tongue started in cheek...ended up somewhere else. :pinch:

Nope...
Because i don't have anything worth noting from the UGA folks as it relates to him.
You don't have to pay attention if you don't want to.

Be careful, some of these don't like to hear reality, if you say the commit is going elsewhere you are really a fan of that school not a VOL..
