ok this made me laff. google searched derek mason press conference. when I just had Derek Mason in "Derek Mason Vanderbilt" was the third option, behind Derek Mason Titans. lol.

Ah, that makes sense. My laptop speakers suck and I couldn't make out what he was saying other than "good win." Thought he was so confused that he actually referred to a loss as a win.

I'm slowly warming up to the Hilltoppers. They are already adding occasional hilarity to Kentucky's seasons and now they have a strong chance to add some to vandy's. On top of adding some good turnover highlights for us two years ago, they seem to be adding fun all around for us.

Just for ****s and grins I youtubed Masons SEC speech yesterday. There is just no "nice" way to comment on his speech other than to say no comment. All I saw was his mouth moving and all I heard was this weak, droning, foghorn like sound that would put an anchor to sleep. Anchor down *****es.

When did the option become a "gimmicky" offense? It's only been around 70 years,
Was it gimmicky when OU,TX,Bama and Nebraska were running over everyone in the 60's,70's,80's and 90's?

Mason's appearance at SEC Media Days took the recruiting world by storm.

Today Vandy is celebrating a commitment from Turner Cockrell, a top 1,500 player and the 60th ranked TE in the nation with offers from Elon, Mercer, Colgate, Holy Cross, and Valdosta State!

It's gimmicky now because no one runs it. It's a wrinkle offense that you have to go way out of your way to prepare for in modern football.

You guys should really go easy on special people. Mason can't help it if drew the short straw when it comes to SEC coaching jobs.

Vandy will always suck, they had their two seasons of mediocrity in the last century and now they resume their rightful place at the bottom of the heap.

So those miserable jerks that think Vandy is a good football team can resume their position licking my but.

I've been thinking about sending in highlights from Vandy's season last year to America's Funniest Home Videos. Pretty sure I'd win the grand prize.
