Tux "knew" he was Georgia bound...he was a little offended that we didn't respect his inside knowledge. Then a greater threat appeared on the horizon...Torrance Gibson. He formed an unholy alliance with Leb and myself and we valiantly thwarted that crisis. :)

Freshmen who make big impacts should be considered a plus not the expectation. The transition from playing Gallatin to Georgia is a bit of a leap. Malone would be the best WR on a lot of D1 teams this year. He will be fine. Better OL and QB play will help a ton.

Got a feeling he'll be the missing piece the receiving corps needs. A little bit of sauciness to go with the discipline, but he still works pretty dang hard.

Hope he pushes North to full potential this year.

And his burst was clear to see in the OW game. He may not be the perceived deep threat-fight the defender that North is. My hope is DeBord has seen enough and uses him in a better way than Jake... i.e. Bubble screens, slants, outs... Stuff to keep the defender off him while he can make a play.

Man I might end up eating words if Debord tanks, but I'm so glad Jake isn't calling plays anymore.
