Mack's 6'2.5" and between 295-300 confirmed, as I'm typing like it or not and has been since season's end... That's equal to or better than half of the centers on NFL rosters right now.

His strength is one of the best on the OL and his foot speed hasn't been an issue with his coaches.
The things you said he does well are the things most other big guys find hard or impossible to put together in a complete package at that position. That's why guys who can't play center play guard.
And... On one of the elite, Fulmer teams Mack would've looked a Helluva lot better just like anyone else on the line would have last year.
But remember, I'm in your court now. Surely since CBJ recruited CT and not Mack he will see what you do and make the switch. Just a matter of time.
Why don't they go ahead and ask him to explore his options, so we can free up another scholarship? Or are they hoping that something will eventually click?
I think it's the fact that we are somewhat short on bodies at the tackle position and Blair shows flashes of being a quality tackle but can never keep it up. He looks like a monster sometimes and other times he looks lost and disinterested. It's frustrating.
Call me a negavol or whatever but I've thought for the longest that Crowder and Kerbyson are the major weak links on this line. I think Jackson, Jashon and Kendrick will be more than solid for this team in 2015. I'm just hoping and praying that Thomas keeps improving at center and Richmond continues looking like an NFL left tackle.
Thinking of the 2016 line, I can't help but be excited
LT: Richmond
LG: Big battle between Jones, DW, Sanders, Boulware, Stewart and Hall.
C: Thomas
RG: Robertson
RT: Kendrick

Maybe, but size isnt an issue. Iirc, possibly Fulmers best C was undersized and played for the Packers for several seasons and was recognized as one of the best C's in the league during his time. Think his name was Mcneil or something like thatSo what do you think Crowders NFL prospects are? How about compared to Jackson and Kerybson? Think his numbers will hold up at a combine or pro day?
Come one man, Crowder is better than most people here give him credit for, but it's disingenuous to act like he doesn't have some physical limitations on what he can be as a football player.
Blair? Wtf? Dude hasn't shown anything to this point.

Your jimmies seem to be in quite the spot Papa Crowder. I think you need to take your aspirin, count to ten, and chill out for a bit.
I doubt SteelVol is Papa Crowder because if he was he would probably get with Freak and find out who you are and hunt you down and shake the 'problem child' right out of you. Even the dumbest dumbbell (i.e. 'MockingVol') will not get on here and dog an SEC starting lineman publicly and not expect repercussions. You and the other six who post similar post and together total around 40,000 to 60,000 posts are not a majority you are actually a very small minority. Six is a very small number of people - you just post a lot of posts.
