Read about that story the other day. How in the world do 50 people go into a Walmart with the mentality they're gonna do as much damage as possible and only do $2k in damage?

I bet I could walk into a Walmart right now by myself and do at least $50k (and that's probably a conservative estimate) in damage before I was stopped.

Always low prices?

They looked like they just ran down an aisle or two and back out....they were scared of the cops showing up I assume.... The guy that went back for his phone cracks me up.

Maybe that gives you an illustration of just how high the mark ups are in Walmart??? That Chinese widget that you paid $50 for really only cost Walmart $5...

Being halfway facetious and halfway serious.

So now, even giving your ID isn't enough for these cops...

Once again we don't see what happened before the guy started filming, but I'll admit I was hoping to see the bald cop get jacked after he punched dude in the face like that.

Yep, definitely would have been funny seeing the bald cop get jacked....it's really hard to tell what's going on in a situation like that.

Do you know what happened in this situation?

Caught on camera: Street stop turns into boxing match between officer, suspect | New York's PIX11 / WPIX-TV

The NYPD has since confirmed that before Jun Ice began recording the street stop, officers found a knife on George. What’s still unclear, however, is what probable cause the officers had to search George in the first place.

It’s what happened later on in the encounter that made this incident different than others.

First, it was George’s refusal to wait in the officer’s vehicle while they ran his ID, followed by an all-out boxing match between George and the male officer.

George now faces several criminal charges for carrying what police say was a Gerber model knife, assaulting the officer, and resisting arrest.

Carrying a knife is against the law?

I think the cop throwing punches was trying to provoke him into doing something. There's no other reason for what he was doing. If he was such a threat, all they had to do was call for backup. Once that female officer requested it they had like 15 cops in less than a minute.

Yeah and the white cop threw his elbow into his neck. White cop should be fired. Amirite?

Some guys that I went to high school with executed a dash through West Town Mall on a motorcycle. One guy on the motorcycle, one held open the door to let him drive in, a third guy opened the door for the escape. Statute of limitations is a good thing.
