Making fun of an athlete in general is pretty pathetic, especially a VFL. It's a lot easier to sit behind a keyboard in your mom's basement and spew hate than get on the field and actually put yourself on the line.

I mean you've never made fun of any player huh

Guys, Volatil and his family need some prayers.

That's all I'll say at this point because it's not my place but, just know they're going through something right now and could use some uplifting through prayer.

Oh man, we got you Volatil. May God bless you and yours, sir.

I know you're kidding but...the last time we beat Florida was because of this guy...

He was also the reason we nearly lost. Redemption was his but there were about 40 guys that contributed to that win.

Don't say a thing. I was talking about this when I first hit this board. The posters tried to tell me it didn't matter.

It definitely matters and is absurd to say otherwise. I just don't get some of these people who think that it doesn't.

It's been a big seller for the last two classes and was a big seller for Malone if I remember correctly.

I actually like Adidas material and golf clothing/equipment but golf and/or soccer doesn't turn the wheel. Football and men's basketball does. For that we need NIKE. I see big things continuing after this switch

Not arguing with that but, that only proves my point about the kicking game even further. He might not have needed that redemption kick had he hit all of his attempts all night.

Thanks for the heads up. Prayers lifted to the Lord.

As most know on here I am older than many of you. Yet I know Nike matters big time. Their marketing has been built into American and international psyche over decades. I switched over to them 5 years ago because they started making superior products to what I was using. When UT announced the deal and now with the unveiling - wow!

I bought my first pair on non-Converse athletic shoes over 40 years ago and they were adidas. I've always stayed up on the trends because of my fitness routine. IMO the next company to watch is UA, but they are not yet in Nike's league.

Agree with others on the golf products, though. Not big on Nike for that.

Man, it'd be pretty boring to live in your world. The list of former servicemembers and athletes who have earned themselves a seat at the punchline table is very long indeed. I don't intend to disrespect any person's service or athletic talent by making sport of them, but if someone lines themselves up for a shot, they better expect someone else to take it. Asserting that someone is immune from satire because they joined the military (which is very commendable and deserving of respect) or have more athletic talent than me is just not valid. The fact that I am writing this from my grandma's basement while simultaneously eating a jumbo pack of gummy bears and watching Japanese tentacle porn also has no bearing on this issue. Just know that "hate" is not the only thing I am spewing down here.

Left K-town this morning, driving 12 hours to NY. Won't be seeing my family for two more years, and for at least one, likely never again.

Enjoy what you have in life friends

I could also use prayers at the moment. Minor (somewhat) chainsaw injury. Headed to emergency room.

Dang, and I thought that I had it bad yesterday. While helping my step dad with some fencing I hit my thumb with a level of force that can only be exerted by Thor, leaving my thumb looking like a (probably broken) bloody bit of dog food.

I know it's hard, but that is exactly the instructions Christ left for his followers. Give up today for a greater reward tomorrow. Thanks for posting Nick...
