Obama was a little off on his math. (Not surprised to be honest)
If You Look at This Chart of Top 10 Nations in the World for Mass Shootings One Thing Jumps Out
But regardless. It's a tragedy.
Another thing one might note: The top 5 countries for mass shootings per capita all have restrictive gun policies.
Pretending the US of A doesn't have a real problem on this issue is just false. Anyone, like this, can manipulate stats, or how they analyze the data. But in the end we all know that it's out of control and action should be taken to try to reduce such incidents.
What did you see, Cletus?
In the dead of winter in East TN I saw what looked like camera flashes outside of an abandoned home from the 1800's. These flashes of light were traveling quickly from one side of the residence to the other completely sporadically. My friends and I freaked out, left, and figured all 6 of us just imagined it. Well, I went back a few times with various friends trying to get it on video and never could. Sometimes we'd go and nothing would happen. Other times we'd go and different things would occur right of a ghost movie. There were times we'd sit in our cars and just watch and then we could feel something touching us on our necks/faces and red marks would show up on our skin like we had just been scratched. There was a time we pulled up, turned off the cars and could hear something massive walking in the leaves right next to us even though we could see nothing was there, and that was followed by inaudible voices that were carrying on what sounded like conversation that we couldn't make out.
I know it sounds insane, and had I not experienced it myself with other people then I wouldn't believe it either. At that time in my life I was an agnostic. It certainly changed my views on things.

You're telling me you experienced this and didn't immediately dedicate your life to becoming a ghost buster?
All jokes aside, I'm not sure how your spooky ghost campfire story relates to demonic influence, which is the original claim you made.
It relates in that I've witnessed first hand otherworldly beings. It brought me back to the bible (which covers demons on more than one occasion). They exist and influence this world more than people understand.
Me & some high school friends went to a supposedly "haunted house" once. We went inside to look around to see if we could see any signs of ghosts. I went upstairs & into the bathroom & slowly looked around the door. I saw my own reflection in a mirror & it scared me almost to death.
When I was a teenager, I once thought I was having a threesome with coeds in my bathroom. Thirty minutes later, I came to in a field, butt naked. According to my friends (we were at a party), we took animal tranquilizers and I immediately disrobed and proceeded to laugh boisterously while fondling myself on the hillside for a half hour.
I still believe in bathroom residing supermodel Coed succubi, though.
I once slipped into psychosis in the upstairs bathroom of a house that I'm not certain about who owned it. I spent maybe 7 hours clinging to the floor afraid to move because I was convinced there was an evil truck full of terrible people with jagged instruments of torture circling the block over and over looking for me.
