HBO's "Game of Thrones"

I think it's too soon and too climactic a moment for it to happen off-screen. Still, Bran being with the three-eyed raven + Drogon's world tour leaves it open as a possibility. He did sort of deus ex machina into the fighting pits to save Dany as well.

I think it's pretty clear that Drogon is Dany's. Bran may 'ride' a dragon, but it won't be Drogon.

I wish I had stopped after season 4, which is one of the most compelling seasons of any TV show ever. There are some decent stretches in the last 4, but seasons 6 and 8 are on the level of a bad network show.

Once his girlfriend was murdered and there was no more chances to see her naked I stopped watching. No idea what season that was.

But back on track..I find it weird that as a society we had people up in arms about a perceived rape in the show but filicide by burning alive didn't cause a ripple..

One is a family who flays people for fun and cuts off men's dicks as torture. One wants to stop men like that, by any means necessary.

Easy to me.

One who has betrayed everything he stood for, murdered his own brother, and burned his only child at the stake for personal ambition?

Boltons are brutal toward those they perceive as their enemies. But what kind of person turns on their own blood for personal gain??

I don't think it's solely for personal gain. Stannis is the sole leader (besides Jon) who sees the necessity of fighting the white walkers, and to do that he needs a stable kingdom. It's absolutely pitiful, but I guess he saw no other way. IMO the way he came to that realization last episode (including Ramsay's "attack") was contrived and nonsensical; it looked dire, sure, but not to the point where he would do that.

It should be pretty exciting to see how this affects him next episode. I don't see his story having a happy ending, though.

Thats why I think Stannis is burned too. Not this season but soon.

Well, if she ever realizes that Stannis probably isn't Azor Ahai, he becomes somewhat expendable. Something awful would have to happen for anyone to let her burn him, though.

I think she eventually realizes that Jon Snow Targaeryn, first of his name, is her Azor Ahai, and then sacrifices Stannis and his army (Lots of noble blood and such) in order to slow the White Walkers or stop them outright if the Dragons don't do it. Because she already knows of the White Walkers as well, and she knows they are counter to her god, so why not stop them and get her Messiah all at once?

Are any other book readers upset in the lack of Dolorous Edd hilarities?

"I don't care what she says. It hurts to breathe this cold. Id stop, but that would hurt worse"

Or

"There are worse ways to die than warm and drunk. I knew a brother drowned himself in wine once. It was a poor vintage, though, and his corpse did not improve it"

How many fing times do we have to tell you to stop saying this $hit. Seriously. Every single week you come in here and blatantly disrespect those that don't want to hear this $hit. I personally do not care, but others clearly do.

It's not a spoiler or just a book thing. Merely an opinion. Calling it disrespect is a farce

My favorite:

""I never win anything," Dolorous Edd complained. "The gods always smiled on Watt, though. When the wildlings knocked him off the Bridge of Skulls, somehow he landed in a nice deep pool of water. How lucky was that, missing all those rocks?"
"Was it a long fall?" Grenn wanted to know. "Did landing in the pool of water save his life?"
"No," said Dolorous Edd. "He was dead already, from that axe in his head. Still, it was pretty lucky, missing the rocks.""

"Might have punctured a lung, if he had a lung. Most trees don't, as a rule."

The pillow struck the wall and burst, scattering stuffing everywhere just as Dolorous Edd
Tollett poked his head through the door. “Beg pardon,” he said, ignoring the flurry of feathers, “shall I fetch m’lord some breakfast?” “Corn,” cried the raven. “Corn, corn.” “Roast raven,” Jon suggested. “And half a pint of ale.” Having a steward fetch and serve for him still felt strange; not long ago, it would have been him fetching breakfast for Lord Commander Mormont. “Three corns and one roast raven,” said Dolorous Edd. “Very good, m’lord, only Hobb’s made boiled eggs, black sausage, and apples stewed with prunes. The apples stewed with prunes are excellent, except for the prunes. I won’t eat prunes myself. Well, there was one time when Hobb chopped them up with chestnuts and carrots and hid them in a hen. Never trust a cook, my lord. They’ll prune you when you least expect it.

I think his comment is regarding more than just this one post... Daloth has a rap sheet :)

hasn't crossed the spoiler line in awhile but he loves treading right along the edge.

Yep - and no one flinched a bit when Theon was neutered or any number of horrible actions taken against men (no I'm not Ras).

It is odd to be sure.

People keep getting bent out of shape about theories. Something isn't a spoiler if it hasn't happened in the show or the book.

This has been a FAN THEORY both in the books and SHOW for years now. This is not a fact. How are you people not getting this through your heads yet?

It's not me personally man. I know the theory, and I don't care. But others have told you repeatedly to cut that $hit out, yet it continues to happen. Some people don't even watch the previews of episodes because they are that serious.

Thought this was great.

Lol "They are that serious". Whatever that means. It's asinine to get upset at a fan theory of something that is not a spoiler.

Just wait until they find out that Roose Bolton is an immortal skin-changing vampire and that Tyrion is the son of Dany and Khal Drogo.
