'15 GA WR Preston Williams (UT Signee 2/4/15)

If Preston Williams' stem cells ever gathered in a Petrie dish with some HGH it would create an entity and it would be the end of us.

I am not a doctor, but everyone heals differently- some quicker than others. ACL injuries are not that long anymore. You can be back doing work in 6 months, depending on your resources and probably playing in 9. If I remember correctly, he tore it in late October or November. That puts him at 9 months in late July or August.

My guess is they being him along slowly with our depth, but I would not be surprised if he is playing mid way through the year.

This part is overblown. He looked awful in the videos when he trained with Kansas City for a few days.

The media grabbed on to it and no one said he was MLS worthy. He trained with them though. I also know he trained with some guys with the Chicago Fire.

Kinda a funny story...also says a lot about research vs.real life.

Post-op rehab for ACL repairs unsed to focus on open chain kinetics as closed chain trauma was source of tears.
Open chain = foot not fixed or not touching anything such as leg extension or flexion machines.
Closed chain = foot on ground such as squats, walking, running, etc.

Well a group of therapists at Parkland pointed out that the non compliant patients were progressing faster and had better outcomes than the compliant patients.
The compliant patients were strictly open chain kinetic exercises. The noncompliant patients were using closed chain kinetics and weight bearing.

Followup research proved that closed chain kinetics aided faster healing, better balance, stronger muscles, stronger ACL repair and less chance of reinjury. Totally changed the post op rehab of injuries...

True story.

They definitely had me doing your close chained exercises. PT was the best workout I ever got. worst exercise was pulling myself across the room in a rolling chair just using my repaired leg.

Met Preston and Drew Richmond last night outside of my bar while talking to Danny Parker. Said he's 2 to 3 months ahead of schedule. Hoping to get on the field for the second summer session but fall by the latest.

They Don't need to be hanging outside a bar as soon as they get on campus IMO.... info is great though....

Lol I actually said the same thing to him and Drew both. "Nothing good happens after midnight" or something along those lines. Besides I cant make any money off of him til hes 21 anyways.

Key words here.

Let them live a little.

I'm fine with that, as long as the inevitable -

"What Were They Thinking?!?!"

Posts don't pop up after players 'X' & 'Y' get caught up in an incident outside a bar/restaurant on the strip at 1:00 in the morning.

These young players attract attention, often times by no fault of their own. "Attention", after midnight, is rarely a good thing. Jmo.
