No, Vandy fan... I think it is safe to say CBS isn't picking up the game because Vanderbilt is playing. I'd say it has to do with Georgia being the biggest name of what games are left to choose from. I don't think anybody outside of West End is banking on Vandy being a bit better.

hahaha cbs didnt have first choice the first two weeks. basically they are throwing Vandy a bone here but they will get slaughtered anyway.

Stanford and Duke sh!t on Vandy. It is so funny how these guys assume an education from Vanderbilt is a gateway to becoming a hedge fund manager. They don't realize it isn't what they think it is, because they never attended.

its funny that they are bashing on Dobbs but yet they are working with statues like Wade Freebeck and Johnny McCrary. Has the Vandy faithful taken a look at those two guys stats?

Our team has taken strides moving forward and has been recruiting well. Results are starting to show and Vanderbilt fans attack everything about what Tennessee is doing. They on the other hand are going in the opposite direction. The one coach that gave them any form of success left. Players are transferring out. Recruiting is terrible. Their current players are terrible. They even went 0-8 in conference play yet they still hold out hope they'll be good while writing Tennessee off. You can't make this crap up. Some people just say crap to say crap while talking out of their ass. A lot like Lebron fans.

I actually kind of pity them a little bit. Some of the threads over there are truly cringe worthy. They are grasping for straws hard trying to take digs at UT in any way they can since they have no business discussing actual football. Anything from Dobbs not having eyebrows and looking like Alf to our Jerry Springer demographic alumni base conspiring against Vandy via First TN bank location name:

"Actually, this kind of pisses me off. Bad business too. Ostracizing Vanderbilt alumni for the benefit of UTK alumni might be a good idea if you're a producer for the Jerry Springer Show. If you're a bank you may want to stick with people whose degrees earn money."

See its posts like these where you realize that these daft Vandy fans literally have no idea what college is about. Oh why didnt he go to three schools that dont even have an aerospace engineering program?? :crazy:
Further proof these morons haven't stepped foot in a post high school classroom anywhere.

They can't live vicariously through their sh!tty football team so they try to do it through their student body. It's like living near Harvard and thinking you are somehow smarter than someone who attends Yale..

I flipped it to the SECN last night, and watched what I initially thought was a bloopers video, but eventually realized it was the Vandy spring game!

Six dropped punts, multiple dropped passes, and every other drive seemed to end with an interception. On one play, the pass was intercepted, the intercepting DB then fumbled it, and the ball was kicked around, picked up, and dropped again.

Recommended viewing for fans of old-time slapstick or blooper reels in the tradition of early installments of "Not So Great Moments In Sports."

lol i watched it too. It was brutal to watch though. They looked atrocious. They had made zero progress from last season. The only touchdown they got in the entire game came off a sack/fumble of robinette. It put the ball down at the goaline and then Mason let Robinette come back out there and punch it in instead of awarding the turnover. McCrary threw 2 picks in the 1st qtr. I mean they have like 6 or 7 DL on the entire roster and only like 4-5 have ever played. Just a god awful roster they have right now and getting worse. CJ Duncan who was one of their better 2 star WRs last yr is having to play RB too lol. Their team is a joke.
