I first saw BB King at the Atlanta International Pop Festival in 1970. The last time was at the Tennessee Theater in 2014. Two vastly different venues but two great concerts.

The highlights of the festival for me were Richie Havens preforming "Here Comes the Sun" as the sun was rising and Hendrix's "The Star Spangled Banner" on the 4th of July.

As to the hot weather, it was bad. The only positive was swimming in the near by river with the unclothed young ladies.
