And how many competitors does Halliburton have that can provide all the services that they can? All administrations use them, and why not?

If you're going to go to war, you absolutely should use them. I was impressed every time I dealt with KBR in Iraq, because they do good work. The point I was making is that Haliburton was in position to make more money from a war in an oil producing country, due to contracts, than they would in the Dakota's. In fact, the oil in the Dakota's isn't even profitable unless oil is at historically high prices.

Yes I do. I know people in east TN who have cabins with well water. They have to ventilate their pump/well house prior to turning on their water or the pump will cause a spark and blow up the pump/well house due to methane gas build up. This is a common occurrence up and down Appalachia
