War on Drugs + War on Poverty = War on the poor

My reason for askiing is to your point about gun manufacturers compared to drug.

I was trying to point out the money and equipment required...... And to be fair..... A good machinist does have a very specific skill set. I may have been comparing a Beretta to sh*t meth though.

A serious chemist would make it correctly and cleanly in a lab and not in a hotel room.

Like I said....

What does this even mean....

Your article points out how f'ing ridiculous our drug laws are towards cannabis. Wasting and diverting resources harassing grown adults that choose to alter their OWN conciousness. That is not a crime and it never should have been. You can not claim crime has gone up since legalization just because we still arrest people for it in other places. Your point is moot.

This is something that your generation is going to have to accept.

See ya in the funny papers. Not sure what they call it in your neck of the woods.

My point is, if legal, nobody's going to buy a sh*t product if there's a reputable pruduct out there. Nobody is gonna buy a piece of junk .22 I made from a nail and some paceboard, because they have REAL guns they can purchase legally. If guns were illegal, and some fool needed to shoot his old lady real quick for boinking his best buddy Billy, I could probably sell him a makeshift piece of sh*t real quick.

eh, even when guns are illegal, people can still get their hands on it. the legality has nothing to do with the black market, they don't care if it is legal or not, they sell it both ways, and ask just as few questions.

I thought of this post driving into work this morning...... I saw a beat up POS Chrysler Córdoba on the road and it reminded me of it. Cars are legal, but there's still a market for crappy ones ..... Then I lost focus and started thinking about Mr.Roarke and Fantasy Island.

So we should arrest people because they hurt themselves?

Yeah because when butane explodes it clearly is selective in who it hurts. Same for the phosphine gas poisonings and the residue that kids crawl around in that is seen with meth manufacturing.

not what i was saying. one of the "pot heads" biggest arguments is how safe pot is. no side effects, no draw backs no hangover, just happy feelings and unicorns apparently. yet, now that a state has legalized we are seeing "more and more" reports of people being hospitalized for usage. not them doing stupid stuff and getting hurt, them being hurt by the drug. seems to change the argument a bit, for weed specifically not drugs in general.

I think we can refer to them as "regular american citizens" loudervol. Don't lessen your argument by degrading someone else.

Yes, hash production is dangerous, which is pointed out in your comment. That's why it should be left to professionals and bought by responsible adults. Problem solved and no one gets hurt. It does not change the argument, it only highlights how our laws have hindered safe consumption and manufacturing.
