The government should be the one supplying the drugs.
Poor people's lives suck, let em' pretend they're somewhere else. Some drugs are as cheap as throwing seeds in the dirt and watching it grow. Surely that's within the government's budget, not that government actually has a budget or cares if they're in it.
Also, it seems we're going above and beyond to control the population anyways as it's what the government wants. Rather starting more outbreaks of hiv and ebola, putting unregulated amounts of fluoride in our water, leaving chem trails etc. why not just let people kill themselves using something that makes them feel good? It's more humane than giving everyone cancer. I don't get why they are so concerned if people kill themselves with drugs as opposed to waiting for cancer from all of the pollution and contamination the government pumps out. I guess it's only okay if you kill yourself on prescription drugs so the government gets a cut. And as long as you keep it illegal, you can arrest/fine people and make even more money.
The government and law enforcement are both good ideas gone bad. In Iowa City, the cops don't even bother looking for real criminals. A bunch of trash from Chicago is constantly filtering off into Iowa City and Cedar Rapids. You hear about gun shots and robberies daily when that never used to be the case. While the cops won't do anything about that, what the cops will do is stop any hippy, hipster, rocker looking dude who might have a nickle bag of weed on them, harass them, arrest them and then try to pin extra charges on them other than possession. That's how law enforcement works IC. They've even added a tank for riots, even though there has never been one. In other words, the government/cops are expecting to piss off more people and if you don't like it, f u, "we got tanks b****!".
Not quite a tank but close enough. Iowa City's population is 70,000 and resides nowhere near a city as populated as St. Louis, why is that needed again? Cops ain't no cops anymore. They'll do anything for that extra funding from the government. Cops may not be an army of one, but they sure are an army of hired contractors for the government. You don't even have to leave the country and kill foreigners anymore if you want to go to war and kill. Just become a cop and you can kill (african)americans. Just kidding, you're free to kill any (unwealthy) american if you're a cop so long as they aren't wealthy. They don't even have to have a foreign title in the title of their race for you to blast em' to bits. It ain't just gangstas playin' by GTA rules anymore, now it's da cops and they taken it to another level. Who am I kidding, cops are OG gangtas. They've been beating people for no reason, planting drugs, wire tapping, illegal searches etc. illegally since the beginning. Back in high school my friend's dad who worked at a prison told his son in front of me to never let cops search his car because he knows multiple cops personally who have claimed to found drugs but the cops had the drugs on them the whole time and framed the people. Given my experience, sounds about right. That first time I got in trouble, they called in a girl's dad I went to school with who was a grade below me(she did new guys daily and always had drugs/was high) to drug test me. I found it ironic because I've been in his home as I was friends with his daughter and the wife/mom was also the middle school teacher in our district. The daughter had been caught by cops multiple times for drugs and driving under the influence, I don't know her these days but despite probably double digit run ins with the cops, she had not one arrest on her record the last time I saw her. How is that possible? Oh, ya know, just some more of that shady cop business. When you're a cop, everyone else's kid is a p.o.s. lawbreaking thug but when it's your kid, you gotta make sure to cover up their mistakes. For all I know his, slut drug addict daughter has a good high paying job while my life is still impacted til this day over my first charge. Nice.
Speaking of my first charge, I was picked up for a gram of weed when I was 18 in college. It had gotten lost in a pencil pocket of my book bag from my senior year of high school and when the cop pulled me over to search my car, I let him thinking I had nothing to hide and he found it. Of course. But, he didn't stop there and give me a possession charge, oh no. He gave me a DUI on top of possession even though I wasn't on anything. I get that if you pee positive they can do that but that's unreal as now you're doing everything in your power to destroy someone's life over a f***ing gram of weed. I watched a cop episode around that same time period when it happened to me and a cop pulled over a dude who was eating a bag of weed(including the bag itself) and the officer had to fight him to the ground and rip it out of his mouth. He could have tacked on a ton of charges for destroying evidence, assaulting a cop and whatever else. That cop not only didn't give him a DUI despite the guy possessing weed and his eyes being smoked, but he didn't even charge him for trying to eat it or fighting a cop. Not only that, the cop actually let him go! The cop charged him with possession and wrote him up telling him to appear in court. He just let the guy drive off completely stoned out of his mind after getting in a physical altercation. That's unreal considering my cop nailed me with DUI just because he could since THC would be in my system(shows up for 30-60 days) even though I was sober. That went on to create a bunch of problems for both me and my family. Being that I was only 18 by a couple months, who do you think paid my fines and court costs? Anyways, my family lost their home down the road partially due to that/due to me because from there I actually did drink and drive during my freshman(haven't drank and drove since) year of college since I could no longer smoke weed as I was on probation. I ended up getting a 2nd DUI for alcohol a couple months after the 1st one. The second time it was just and that's the last time I've ever been in trouble. That 1st DUI destroyed the lives of 3 people though and I wasn't even on anything. Some cops just don't care and the war on drugs is a joke. I'm opposed to destroying cities and attacking cops but you're not going to get much sympathy out of me. If cops aren't going to take responsibility for other members of their fraternity, I'm not going to bother caring if my fraternity of non-cops acts like savages. There are more of us than there are of them so they might wanna rethink how they act. We have to think about how we act all the time because we're facing jail time if we f up. Cops on the other hand just have to hide behind their badge to be protected. They commit the same crimes we do and all they get is paid leave and or fired with no jail time. We're required to a serve a minimum amount of jail time and most likely lose our job for failing to show up while being incarcerated. For every good cop, there is a horrible cop to mirror him. One time a cop pulled me over for speeding, asked if I was on anything tonight(i wasn't) and joked that my eyes looked a lot better than in my i.d., hinting that I looked high when I got my license. He let met go with a warning. On the flip side, a life long friend of mine who is now a cop wouldn't even take my call after somebody we know mutually got in trouble and being that he works for the station, I wanted to ask him the quickest/easiest route to getting a vehicle out of impound and bailing someone out as I've never had to do it. Dude couldn't be bothered to help and gave zero craps. Not surprised, the one time in his life he ever smoked weed he was literally paralyzed and couldn't move or get up off the couch. Guess he be so smart that wacky weed malfunctions the pristine system of a cop.
War on drugs and war on tugs has got to go. How free are you really when you can't even do what you want with your own body? I'm surprised suicide isn't illegal. The government wants to control everything else in your life. Well, I suppose that's why hell was made up and the government puts in God we trust on their currency. Just another way to mind control you with imaginary rules. Nobody never asked to be born(as far as we know) but yet it's illegal to sleep on a park bench. You have to pay for land and property taxes just to exist in this plane of reality. How is that free? We were never born free. Sad part is, I'm complaining. I'd kill myself if I were born in the middle east. Hell, I might kill myself if I were born south of the border.
But yes, the war on drugs is a waste of money. It's a scam to incarcerate people and take all of their money through fining them so they have to start over and stay at the bottom. I just saw a that a station in California actually sent a 25 year old back to high school to find dealers. All the 25 year old did was proceed to make friends with/harass a couple of outcasts and a kid with autism, none of which smoked weed, until they got him weed. They lacked friends but the cop was relentless messaging them every morning until bed time asking them to get him weed. Finally the outcast guy and girl did and introduced the cop to someone he could buy it from. The cop asked the outcast kid to hand him the weed from the dealer and the outcast did, that's when the cop arrested him for selling drugs. As for the outcast kid, he had no friends and didn't want to get weed for him either but the cop wouldn't leave him alone and the kid thought that was his only way to make a friend. After the kid got him less than a gram, the cop arrested him for selling drugs. These kids were all 15... that's the war on drugs. Sad part is, other kids from the school said the cop hit on another 15 year old girl and told her during cheerleading practice that she has a nice ass. Murica...
